I'm sure that this has been asked and then answered a million and one times over, but what's the word on the region coding for Burial Ground, Zombie Holocaust and The Dead Next Door?

Had an absolute blast with Slaughterhouse but once again the extras were disappointing and the video quality was by far the worst of the three slasher classics I've seen so far.

That's a bit understandable considering the first two were coming from 4K restorations.

What were your thoughts on it anyhow?

The film?

To me Slaughterhouse is exactly the kind of film I wanted to discover through this collection. The kills are simple but the gore effects still impress today and Buddy is a really really great slasher, a sort of blend between Frankenstein's Monster, Leatherface and Jason. Given the films small budget it's really stylish and well put together and I'm disappointed the director never got another gig.

It's probably the most fun I've had so far in the collection and the truest "slasher" in the bunch but Mother's Day is probably the most "legitimate" film out of the three.

Burial Ground and Zombie Holocaust are region B locked.

The Dead Next Door will be region free.

So, I ordered the Slasher 4 pack the second it was available and received a shipment notice February 11. I still haven't received them, which has never happened to me with a shipment from the UK. I tried emailing them and they haven't responded. Does anyone know if 88 is good with emails usually? I'm a little bit frustrated they haven't got back to me and the 4 pack isn't cheap. I'm hoping it's just taking a little extra time than usual but my concern is this; if they don't tend to get back to customers, what happens if they arrive damaged? Will they honor a replacement?

Thanks!

they should make it count as 1 at least for perk 9, 9.5, 10 contributers. :P

Still waiting on Slaughterhouse as well. I'm giving it a bit extra time since my packages from the UK have been taking a little longer to get here than they used to. I'll try to get in touch with them next week if it hasn't shown up yet.

Hope you get through. Have sent them 2 emails now and still nothing. Hoping to hear back soon. I assume I'll receive the parcel soon but I still find it odd they haven't replied.

Anyone have an idea why on Amazon.uk it says "Sorry, we can't deliver this item to the United States" for a few of the 88 Films releases?

Slaughterhouse
Splatter University
Mother's Day

Those look to be the only titles from the Slasher Collection that say that. The others state they can be shipped to the US.

Maybe I'm missing something obvious. I clicked on the 'Learn more' in regards to the shipping but didn't see anything helpful.

There are random instances like that the other way round, too. I find if I try and order standalone BDs on the US Amazon it wont let me.

Mine in Bath didn't appear to when I popped in this morning... not spotted Mother's Day or Slaughterhouse, either, after popping in every day last week. Maybe it's just my area, but the Toxic Avenger Blus were selling like hot cakes, so it seems like they should be ordering in 88 stuff.

Is anyone on this board in the Bath/Bristol area and know of anywhere stocking them?
