Yeah, I agree with the glitchy part. Don't know why. But, that's not going to stop me from going there. Their catalog and sales are just too good.

They have the Original Star Trek films for 49.99 in HD and they just dropped Abrams 2009 reboot film to 9.99 in HD as well this morning. Great deals, if you ask me.

I only use iTunes, so the glitches aren't stopping me either. Just restarted my Macbook and currently downloading Lethal Weapon with the other 3 in queue.

Yeah, I've always loved that bit of dialogue from that film. It's just perfect.

As it stands, I'm actually getting 3 out of the 4 Star Trek Next Generation films because I thought I had them but don't so I'm getting those instead, in preparation for Star Trek Into Darkness next week.

I hope to God that Into Darkness has iTunes Extras.

I'm actually not a fan of the iTunes Extras and have them clogging up my stupid download window EVERY time I download something. I have 26 undownloaded extras that I keep pausing and (attempt) deleting but they always come back, making me cancel them each time. Is there any way to get rid of these?

I'm so tempted to get the Harry Potter collection as well, but I already own the blu boxed set. Not sure I need them in my iTunes also. But for that price, I'd consider it. How long is this sale going on?

I agree - most of the time the iTunes extras are just the short fluffy featurettes (although it was awesome to get the long documentaries for Blade Runner, Alien and Aliens). The only way I've found of 'getting rid' of them is to let them download and then delete them - in fact for new purchase I restrict the film, download the extras first, then 'delete' the combined film/extras thing, which only removes the extras portion, then resume download of the film. But that's not much help to those without unlimited bandwidth!

At a guess, I'd say between 1 and 6 days. Almost certainly it will be over by the end of next Monday (19th) but given how great a deal/mis-price these are, I'd be surprised if they last more than a couple of days!

Thank you, minister_x. I figured that's what I'd have to do in regards to the Extras, but my internet connection sucks. As it is, I'm gonna be spending 2 to 3 hours each downloading these movies. I may go back to my mom's after work tomorrow night to download the rest of these...

I bit and bought the HP collection. Too good to pass up.

I was able to snag Lethal Weapon. I tried to get HP, Matrix, Austin Powers & LOTR but it wouldn't let me. "Purchase of this item is not currently available. This item is being modified. Please try again later." I took snap shots of the prices in case they try anything.

Yep, all up to standard prices that match others in the sale - I wonder if it was an accident or deliberate, but given most of the weekly sales are $9.99 and the prices they've gone to now are more what you'd expect, it was quite possibly accidental...

Matrix, Austin Powers, LotR and TMNT are now $17.99
Lethal Weapon is now $19.99
Harry Potter is now $59.99

I like the itunes extras, at least the ones with deleted scenes, bloopers and that type of thing. I'll usually download them, watch the stuff I want then delete them.

God, I wish I would have seen this earlier. At 9.99, I would have bought at least 5 of the sets. At the current prices, I'll be buying exactly none. It would be great if iTunes actually took the initiative and made prices more reasonable. At 9.99, I can almost justify re-buying 3 to 4 films I already own just so that I can view them in hi-def and with extras wherever I want instead just on my t.v.
Really a shame. I ALWAYS miss those "mistake" things.

some of the prices are crazy, I paid 9.99 - 14.99 each for the SD harry potters a few years ago. I would have been better off buying the blus and using the digital codes

Hangover 1 & 2 HD combo pack is $9.99. Just purchased it at that price. I'm guessing it should be like the other 2 movie combo packs that are priced at $12.99.
