I've got a couple of fairly reliable bricks and mortar retailers around here, but I hate the thought of throwing snake eyes on Friday the 13th. I mean, it'd be pretty disappointing, given the date.
Apparently it won't be in stores in Canada unless a company imports it. I'm having mine imported. I might get it a few days early, if I do, I will post the findings on all things discussed. Hoping for the best for JGTH but keeping expectations in check.

It's been over two weeks for me. I first emailed WBshop with a very kind letter with my concerns expressed and they wrote back saying that they'd pass it on to WB but that they have no knowledge on the matter. Then I wrote to WB with no response. I understand that they're a big company but so is amazon and I get a reply within a day when I write them.

No surprise there then

I don't know what has upset me more about the way Warner Bros. has gone about releasing these. Their clear lack of care/concern with giving fans and one of the best horror franchises the correct versions of each film or the fact they are cramming 2 films onto one disc. Imagine the fervor if each transfer isn't up to scratch

If Universal can give each Childs Play film it's own disc why can they?

Because there's 6 Child's Play films and 12 Friday the 13th films.

Paramount is releasing a Star Trek set with 10 SEPARATE discs including each of the original crew movies and the TNG movies....so the amount of movies is not an excuse. Warner it's just cutting corners with this release. They did the same with their Nightmare set.

That is the same thing Universal did with their Classic Monsters and Alfred Hitchcock sets.

Sorry if this has been asked before but does anybody know if the UV/DC code this comes with unlocks every movie? Or just certain movies?

I don't think that's been discussed yet, as to my knowledge, nobody has received their copy yet.
I would like to think that there might be one sheet with all the codes on it. I've seen that with other boxed sets, but those were only trilogies. I've never purchased a 12 movie boxed set before, so I'm curious as well.

Nobody really knows until the set comes out how one will redeem the UV/DC of each movie. It will probably be individual codes or one code that unlocks every movie.

Yeah, I just wanted to make sure if anybody has seen any details about it on other websites as I'm trying to sell them in advance so I can have enough money to afford the set on release day.

Lana's "It's Showtime" scene from part 5, I could never get enough of that scene as a kid.

Jason getting blown up in Jason Goes To Hell has always been another favorite scene of mine.
