Post made in error.

However, Licorice Pizza only has a Blu Ray release in the US and it's region free. I believe that the UK is coping a DVD only release too.

It's out in the UK (on BD) for 2 weeks now, also in France, Germany and Scandinavia.

I never understood why American Psycho never got a 4k release here, We had the best blu-ray release of it back in 2008. Did the title not perform well for Sony to release it here?

Still surprised Village Roadshow didn't release green mile 4k here too.

I swear via vision is the only reason why we don't have a release for Dr strangelove 4k ?

Roadshow hasn't released any of Lionsgate's 4K catalog titles, it seems like their deal only covers new releases. Also the rights to American Psycho seem to be tied up here along with everything else that was released during Lionsgate's deal with Sony. Most of those are either OOP or have been licensed to bloody Shock and given the usual bullshit treatment

I know this thread is mostly bad news, but Everything Everywhere All At Once is not only getting a Blu-Ray this week, but it's also getting a 4K.

I know it's old news, but I'm still surprised it's getting this treatment considering it's an indie title. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I also think this is the first A24 4K in oceania. Even us kiwis are getting both the 4K, and the Blu-Ray!

This is a BIG W!

Indie LMAO. A24 is far from being indie, IMO it's another parasite situation where the film kinda just blew up (Although madman still somehow ****ed up their 4k release). I was really hoping drive my car would of also been in the same situation or the worst person in the world.

Indie defines anything produced outside of the major Hollywood system, so this classifies as indie.

Also, what happened with Madman's Parasite 4K?

While there continues to be plenty of titles that go DVD only, here is one show (nominated for Best TV Series Emmy 2022), that I wanted to buy local.

US Blu-Ray released this week. Aussie DVD only end of August.

With 8K TV’s being sold, it boggles the mind how people can still accept and dizzys can continue to release/use SD PAL technology.

Intriguing Western advertised in Stack. Good cast. DVD only here.

And in typical Madman style, who appear to not even give a shit about releasing Blu-Ray’s anymore; allows an apparent “Instant Aussie Comedy classic” to be released DVD only.

isn't this thread..... dead and buried ??!!

Look - the ONLY films that will get a BD release now are the BRUCE WILLIS remaining catalog of GARBAGE. If he's in it - it will be released

If you want QUALITY then seek overseas.

Imprint is releasing some interesting stuff.... although the price is a killer

Umbrella the same...

Disney / Pox / Universal / Warner / Paramount - best wishes for anything off beat, unique, cult, special.....

When JB has 69 DVDs, 48 BDs and 19 UHDs on the 'coming soon' page... if gives you an indication to look elsewhere.

Madman has been releasing more Blu-rays than the past year or two, weird to point them out in this thread.

I must admit that I suspected Madman would release Crimes of the Future on Blu Ray. Would have been crazy not to.
