We can be grateful that Arrow is using thick and hard cardboard for the case and not something like TCM2 release.

Think I might sell this and keep the Criterion, so if you're someone who wanted this and missed out PM me and maybe we can work something out. Would prefer to ship within US for tracking reasons. This isn't an ad, I'd kind of prefer ebay and would probably make more, but I wanted to give forum bros a chance.

Now I'm intrigued. How does a package for Norway get sent to Thailand?

Maybe it had an unhealthy interest in smaller packages, and engineered a stopover in Thailand...

I have the Italian Universal Blu-Ray. Would you say this is a significant improvement for me to upgrade?

I believe the Universal release in the UK is massively mis-framed, so I'd expect that to be the case with the Italian release as well.

Regular edition released today

I've been keeping the limited edition on my eBay watchlist but they usually shoot up to £50-ish when bidding ends.

Pretty awesome Arrow included all of the TV cut's exclusive scenes.

I remember catching the new opening credits and that abstract painting scared the shit out of young me. Then I was totally confused years later when I bought the Criterion DVD and discovered that the opening credits in the official cut were...significantly less freaky.

That alone (and already owning said DVD) is why the Arrow blu-ray was the ideal choice for me.

Yes, Criterion is the licensee for US/Can and Arrow version is for UK. Nothing stopping you from importing, assuming you can play region B locked discs.

I know some prefer the Criterion blu, but as I already own the Criterion DVD, I'm more than happy with the Arrow blu.

I just prefer commentaries to other supplements so the Criterion made more sense for me (same with Time Bandits). Nothing wrong with making the opposite decision though.
