Well it wouldn’t really matter for Fena because I don’t think there is any legal way to watch the Dub anymore ever since Discovery made Warner do a tax write off on it along with Shenmue and Blade Runner Black Lotus. So Toonami and Adult Swim really got screwed. She mud and Fena did well enough to get a Season 2 if possible. Crunchyroll would need to put them on Blu-ray to make those Dubs to exist again.

Got Fruits Basket: The Final Season, and I can confirm they do. Also, it took forever, but they now actually will credit the person doing the subtitles on each episode instead of ONLY the 10 second end of disc credits screen. Should have happened decades ago, but hey, they finally corrected that. Better late than never, I guess. I'm reminded of how it took until like 2014 for them to credit the translator on each episode instead of only on the 10 second end of disc credits screen. These people are extremely important, and that's how you thank them for their hard work? Found that just insulting, honestly.

Why did they dub Vinland saga twice? Is it one dub on Netflix and another on the sentai blu ray?

Netflix dubs are expensive to obtain. The asking price is so high, It was apparently cheaper for Sentai to make a whole new dub.

In the case of Vinland Saga, nobody knew about that dub until it streamed on Netflix Japan last year so it may have been a different case from the others that got redubbed.

Yeah, Evangelion's 2019 Netflix dub ended up on GKIDS' release, so it's not impossible to obtain them overall.

Wonder if they'll correct their mistake with Trigun: Badlands Rumble and bring back Jeff Nimoy and Dorothy Fahn as Wolfwood and Meryl.

I wonder if they’ll even bother bringing anyone back from the two previous dubs or if they’ll end up using an all-new cast for what is essentially a fresh start for the series.

I would imagine if they bring anyone back, it would be Johnny Yong Bosch, just like with Badlands Rumble. I know he said he was disappointed not to be back, but I think he was just misinterpreting what a headline was saying about the Japanese version. It could be a Fruits Basket situation where the entire Japanese cast is replaced, but at least some of the English gets to reprise their roles.

If I remember correctly Sentai announced a dub for Vinland Saga before Netflix randomly dropped their alternate English dub so it wasn't simply a case of being too expensive; Sentai always planned to do their own dub.

Considering Crunchyroll's anti union stance I doubt any dub for season 2 would be with the Netflix cast.

Log Horizon season 3 got back most of the original Sentai cast for the dub so unless Crunchyroll/Funimation want to completely do it from scratch there's a good chance history could repeat itself.

I was looking on eBay and I noticed two listings for My Hero Academia Season 5 Part 1 that doesn't include the digital copy, and any mention of Funimation now says Crunchyroll. I guess this is what we can expect to see going forward.
