Watched R.I.P.D. (Rest in Peace Department) in 3D, and i thought the 3D is IMO very nice, i liked the pop outs especially at the beginning of the film, i found this to be a very underrated stereoscopic conversion by Stereo D.

I felt IMO the 3D in this doesn't enough credit it deserves, for the short amount of time that Stereo D had to convert the film, for what they had to work with they did a very good job.

Agreed with that, the 3D in RIPD is excellent. I like the action and vfx/ design work too. Very imaginative. I just wish the script was better.

I watched My Bloody Valentine for the first time. A decent slasher and the 3D definitely adds to the movie. A mix of mild and medium scenes and a few good pop outs as well.

I think the MBV remake is a fantastic slasher and one of the best modern native 3D movies period. I love it.

I watched Dragonfly Squadron 3D and to be honest it was disappointing. Even Cease Fire with its amateur cast kept me more interested. 3D was very mild, storyline was lukewarm at best. Maybe I've grown spoiled with vintage 3D so I set my expectations too high LOL

Just watched:

A Jackie Chan-esque movie that might even be more silly. If you like endless fighting movies, you might like this.

The 3D was all over the map except that it was never really strong. There were several pop-outs but most of the time things were mild and seldom got above a low-medium. I was entertained a bit and not at all mad that I watched it.

Just watched the Asian "Naked Ambition". A hilarious farce on the porno industry out there.

Wonderful 3D. Great, natural depth. Being a satire the film itself didn't need 3D to enhance the adult content (no comments on that please) but I'm so glad they made it that way since 3D does not need be limited to just certain types of movies.

This should not be viewed by children or adolescents but would not call this a porno film though sexually explicit.

Watched Coraline 3D for the 1st time. Interesting movie, a little strange.

1.85 3D was very good, but not 100% reference. Color and blacks were outstanding.

More animated movies should just stick with 1.85 and not get all pretentious.

I don't think having a letterboxed ratio for animation is pretentious, it's just a creative choice with regard to how the director wants to frame the movie.

Last night I watched Sin City: A dame to kill for (I FORGOT IT EVEN CAME WITH A 3D DISK!!!)

The 3D was pretty cool indeed. Movie wasn't as good as the first one but I picked this up for six bucks so not complaining.

Hi Frank,

If I recall, the 3D was not so hot until she went into that other world, which then it really picked up. Think it was intentional to create a different atmosphere.

I can remember a few:

1. "Darker Than Night" - Mexican "Horror" 3D Movie with Latin American Spanish native language. Curiously it was released only in Germany I really liked it, nice production.
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Darke...lu-ray/171994/

2. "Futbolin" - Animated 3D movie from Spain, with Castilian native language. Haven't seen this.
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Futbo...Blu-ray/99098/

3. "Chinese Zodiac CZ12" - Chinese Martial Arts movie, with Jackie Chan. Native language is Mandarin. Funny comic movie, nice 3D.
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/CZ12-3D-Blu-ray/65742/

4. "Out Of Inferno" - Chinese disaster movie, it's like "The Towering Inferno" spoken in Mandarin. Nice.
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Out-o...Blu-ray/91956/

5. "Slava's Snowshow" - A very nice "clown musical spectacle" from Russia. Native language is Russian although the movie itself has no dialogue, only a few words. (It's a musical show, Cirque Du Soleil style but only with the clowns)
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Snows...Blu-ray/61551/

6. "Top Cat 3D". Animated movie made in Mexico, but again for a strange reason the 3D version was released only in Brazil. Native language is Latin American Spanish.
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Manda...Blu-ray/58504/

7. "Verdi's Aida 3D". It's the famous Italian opera. A very nice production. Native language is Italian.
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Verdi...Blu-ray/89236/

8. Bizet: Carmen in 3D". The famous Opera, native language is French.
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Bizet...Blu-ray/32165/

There are many more, but this are the ones I own. Hope this helps.
