That's a really good price for a "deluxe" release! The book's as good as free.

That's nearly all of the films in the old dvd Tigon collection coffin box available on blu-ray - just The Body Stealers to go, but that was the weakest film in the set.

This has been pushed back to 20th December. That's the date showing on Amazon and I've just had an email from HMV confirming the new date for my order.

I was expecting that - and was surprised it hadn't slipped already.

Pretty much every release bar the big Hollywood films slip these days due to supply chain issues.

Had a quick look.

Superb package but the “new restoration” is a little bit of a letdown, not what I’d expect a new scan to look like.

One thing about this deluxe version - breasts everywhere! The film, the art cards, you open the book and see breasts, etc! I think some people might have some explaining to their partners if they see it.

I sold my Redemption disc in anticipation so can't go back and compare now, but it does look very similar from memory. Audio is 16-bit PCM like the Redemption.

Obviously, this one improves in physical presentation and extras.

As pictured really.

Amaray case with disc and art cards, the novel on glossy bound paper with production photos all housed in a rigid slip box.
