Quite surprised to see Discotek rescue Space Adventure Cobra's TV series so that's good news.

Wicked City was no surprise but also nice to see. Eventually, I'll get both DCS and WC at some point.

Are any of them actually good? IIRC they had to use a inferior source for the one scene and it doesn't look as good as the rest, and they are still technically edited...wasn't the German DVD the only uncensored version that didn't have any cuts? Or am I misremembering?

The Kite Special Edition Uncut DVD had everything as I recall (I had a copy at one time). I think they were supposed to put out a BD version of the uncut version, but I don't know if they ever did.

Hey guys want to know what the consensus is on the upcoming g Patlabor set? I’m a pretty big Appleseed fan Sonos this series similar? Is it easy to get into?

It streams on VRV/Hidive if you want to try it. It's one of my top 10 series and I'm very happy it's on bluray. It's nothing like Appleseed at all, really. It's a mix of comedy drama and mech action.

You have to keep in mind the TV series, first OVA, and the Movies are in separate continuities though.

It's more lighthearted than Appleseed though the movies are serious. I love the original OVA and the first movie the most. The series and it's follow up OVA is decent to good at times. I couldn't really get into the last two movies though.

You get a lot of content for the price, though it's not complete. There was a animated short and some live action toku stuff too.
