Before they sold I would've guessed the best chance being rightstuf through critical mass media. I think media blasters said they were done with Kite after the license expired. Idk who else to hope for, I don't see discotek releasing it.

I'd wish for just the opposite. Particularly for Mezzo Forte, which I think plays better without the racy scenes, that are just poorly animated and unnecessary.

The Sentai/Maiden Japan/etc company umbrella? They released Mezzo Forte on DVD at one point, IIRC, although I can't recall on which label. And they did Redo of Healer not too long ago too.

Mezzo Forte especially, it flows better w/o the naughty bits..

Those scenes in Mezzo Forte are throwaway and I think were added in so
it could be a 18+, but than could be removed for an additional lower rated release.
( I read about the reasoning behind the 2 versions of both Animes years back, I just can't recall what was said ) ...

But with KITE not so much, it feels like it has cuts in it w/o the naughty bits
( Hmmmmm, but unless you already knew about it, noticing the cut nature of the cut version of KITE would vary I think )

Just my thoughts though, I own and have watched both version of both Animes many times
Both cut versions are still very good Animes....

I would recommend the cut version of both to anyone wanting to watch a Critty Mature Anime

Mezzo Forte was through the revival of SoftCel Pictures. The releases bombed hard. After only 6 releases in 2017, they gave up, the Twitter account went silent, and the releases were later on RightStuf deeply discounted for years, and you can still find everything except Mezzo Forte on BuyAnime. Mezzo Forte was delisted from RightStuf about a year or so ago.

Redo of Healer went through Maiden Japan after being Sentai via simulcast. Interestingly, they removed all of the English staff credits from the simulcast both on the release (a friend found that out) and on HIDIVE, and had none on the back cover.

Anyway, I don't expect anything to happen with Mezzo Forte or Kite here. Mezzo Forte's license expired ages ago and Media Blasters has no interest in relicensing it. Kite is also SOL. Unless someone new enters the hentai market, things will remain OOP once they expire. Kitty Media IS quite literally the entire hentai market at this point as everyone else went under, stopped licensing stuff, or just release sex scene compilation DVDs.

Like all hentai releases in Japan, these will have censorship because uncensored porn is illegal in Japan.

Damn, Mezzo looks so gorg in HD. One of the last celluloid anime productions. God bless the cels. And RIP. Also Kite master seems to be new, since it's not as crushed as the previous HD remaster with horrible SD inserts.

Also, I hope none of them are edited/cut. Maybe a good compromise is multiple cut release, if someone will license them overseas.
