Default Ordering from WB directly

I was wondering if anyone else is having problems with getting their orders from WB directly. I ordered a bunch of movies back in the end of September and these movies had stagered release dates. When all the Stanley Kubrick movies came out it took2/12 weeks before they shipped them out from there release date. I got them about a week ago.

I also ordered the Polar Express that cam out on 10/30 and that did not even ship until 11/9. I also payed for express shipping but they only sent it out via snail mail which was suppose to arrive today but it didn't because they did not enclude my full address and it was only by chance that I checked the tracking info that I need to contact UPS to give them the full address. It was correct on the order email I got from WB.

I have a couple of more comming in December that I hope don't have any issues. Anyone else having similar issues?

Order from Amazon, but don't do the FREE shipping, you will have much more timely shipping, at least I have so far.

I got a notice from Warners a couple days ago, saying that my Oceans Set was delayed or some such. Guess they are still having problems. (They even asked me if I wanted to cancel my order to just let them know, but I can wait.)

Long time reader, first post. To add to the WB thread, I went on to their hi-def website a couple (few?) weeks ago and was browsing their blu-ray movies. I stumbled upon their 'best of' 4 packs (they have #1, #2, #3, family and action). The price listed on the screen was $5!! They're supposed to run for about $60. All the single movies were between $20-$25 like you would expect. I called customer service and spoke to a lady who went to the site and found the same prices. Very nice lady. She took my name and number and said she would check it out and get back to me. I called back 2 days later after not hearing from her. I spoke to her again - she apologized as she had lost my name and number - and informed me that they would NOT be able to give me the movies at the price that was stated but did offer me a coupon for $10 off instead. I couldn't believe it. I told her thanks but no thanks. I also told her that I could've sent the link out to a million people and told them all to contact customer service and demand the price that was shown but thought I'd be nice. I have no respect for WB anymore. It could've cost them a pretty penny and they weren't even considerate enough to offer me one free movie for not telling the world.
P.S. They made sure they corrected their pricing info quick. Got home from work that night (8 hours later) and the $5 price tags were gone.

I have ordered directly from Warner twice. First time was 8/29 when they were updating there system and it took some time but I was aware of the delays so no problem took approx 30 days. Second time was 10/16 didn't think there would be a big delay but 11/15 now and second order still has not shipped.

They must have been reading my hate posts. I ordered four titles on Nov 7. Corpse Bride, Galapagos, Polar Express, 2001 Space Odyssey. I received Polar Express and Galapagos yesterday. They were shipped 13th UPS next day. The other two are showing "In Process". I can't complain with the discounts that I got.

I pre-ordered Harry Potter Box Set quite awhile back and I just received an authorization charge for the full amount today. I'm hoping I get mine early.

I've never ordered from them before, so this order will either make me a "regular customer" or, if I have some problems getting this set in a timely manner, I will probably never order from the again.

Still waiting on my Kubrics as well. In our communications they blame it on their software updates, but I was able to receive everything else right away, including full metal jacket. Starting to get pissed.

Dont count on it. When I pre-ordered some items from them, I noticed "authorization charges" about every other week during the pre-order period. All came and went.

i just got mine yesterday.

originally i had a large order with them that they have been shipping out in pieces. interestingly i get the notification that the previous order has shipped, when they actually ship a new order. so 3 days ago they sent me an email saying 8 movies had shipped that I received 3 weeks ago, so I knew they just shipped me something new, and it turned out to be polar express, in a huge box. also they billed my credit card for the 8 movies they shipped 3 weeks ago 3 days ago. I still have about 10 movies outstanding

Has anyone who pre-ordered 2001 received it? What's up with the Kubrik titles?

Just received my Polar Express from Warner in the mail yesterday. Some parts of the movie look noticably better than the regular DVD but not enough for me to give the PE BD version a recommendation.

They used a box and packaging bladders that could have fit a 4 slice toaster in it. All for the tiny little BD box and receipt.

What a waste us American's make with our consumerism.

p.s.

As usual, I received the Warner email that my order was shipped (with tracking number) after the item was already in hand.

Still waiting for 2001, Shining, Clockwork Orange from my original order (end of sept) to arrive. Even though I've cancelled them and since re-ordered them again last Thursday(?) night. They didn't sound very certain that my cancellation would take...

[Hope the re-order will show up soon, but I'm beginning to think I'll never get them, or that both will arrive at the same time, or who knows what... At least they said if I got them (twice?) I could refuse them.]

Unfortunately, Warner's has dinged my account twice over the Harry Potter Box Set AND the Ocean's Box Set/Hairspray. Once in the very beginning when those sets were clearly *not* available, and once each, again, about a month ago. The sets were *still* not available but those dings finally disappeared a few days later. Fortunately, I had the funds still available in my account for both pre-mature charges. But it seems that this is routine with Warners--not a good thing, really.

So, I doubt if you are getting Harry any earlier. Sorry.

I have only received The Shining - still waiting for 2001, Clockwork and the Oceans Box

The only one I have received they even managed to ship of with a missing street address and their fantastic customer service hasn't come back to me yet

I'm probably going to cancel everything soon if they don't get their act together. The saving against Amazon is not worth the hassle for me.
