I'm already thinking about DLC possibilities! The ability to play Quidditch is a must! But also, I want to be able to play wizards chess and other table top games. I also want The Ministry of Magic and Azkaban added as places we can go to.

So I’m missing the trait because the game musta gave me a duplicate trait thanks to RNG.

I know exactly which one you are missing too. I’ve tried multiple times trying to get the flying book to spawn in the Bell Tower Courtyard.

Funny thing my did spawn and I collected it but it never registered.

“hogwarts legacy glitch have 74/75 traits”

6 websites now including this one have reported the trait bug. So looks as though it is getting attention & will one day get resolved.

I made a new character yesterday. 1 important note is if you go to make a manual save, you’ll see none have been created. I selected the 1st slot to make a manual save. Then backed out to main menu to see if I saved over my main game. Good news is when creating a new character the game creates a separate file for auto saves for that specific character & your manual saves only apply to the character in use.

A DF video covering the game console version & its performance is up. The PS5 version comes out on top, presumably is on the current patch. I'm not surprised as PS5 launch versions often seem to perform a bit better by their analysis but I was surprised to hear this game in particular is supposed to be better than Xbox seeing as I'd heard people claim the opposite elsewhere...I guess that was all bs then, surprise.

I was curious why DF didn’t release their video. They were told to wait for the patch we got a few days ago. So unfortunately all the Performance tests in that video is actually the day 1 patch game.

Any improvements we got in the last patch isn’t covered by them at all.

At least they covered Resolution targets.

I've read that Avalanche isn't planning on any further additions to the game except patches.

I'm fine with that. It's a great single player game and I already feel like I've gotten my monies worth. I'll move on to something else when I finish up the rest of the story and random trophies. After I'm done I'll probably work on Legen of Dragoon until Star Wars Survivor comes out.

I bought it digitally and have ZERO issues. When it comes to video games, going digitally is the only way to go. I’m hearing that the physical version is having a lot of issues. Then again I own the PS5 digital console.

I'll always buy physical if I have a choice. I haven't had any issues with my PS5 disk for Hogwarts Legacy.

When everything goes full digital creating a monopoly on media I'll give up gaming. Until then I'll keep letting my buddies borrow my games, buy used copies, and sell the ones I'm tired of. I also like picking games up on sales from the big box stores. PS doesn't do that as regularly and even when they do you can usually get the games cheaper in physical form.

Not true. Buying a game digitally or physically acts the exact same way and has no bearing on one having issue over the other one. I have this physically and never had any issues even before the patch.

If PS6 is digitally only, I'll consider it only if the games are good and playable offline.
If PS6 offers a disc version by some miracle, I'll go for that one, preferring discs for the AAA large games. But I feel like the days of AAA games are being quickly overtaken by the smaller publishers/developers out there and indies for the past couple years now.

Even so, it's good to see HogLeg deliver a positive game experience in a big way for many gamers, from a AAA team.

The disc version, if not updated at all, can contain all of the flaws the developer may have not had time to polish before release as the biggest disadvantage these days. Will have to test it out first hand to see how far it can be played from the disc without any updates as a true test of the disc version 1.0.

Biomutant PS4 version 1.0 from the disc without any updates, has 4K resolution at 60 fps on PS5, but crashes 1 time every hour without fail. I actually finished the entire game however, that way, so it was complete-able.
Then I updated the game, tested it out, and deleted the game from my installation, then re-installed it without the patch.
The patched version actually downgraded the resolution to 1080p or less, it looked like 900p to be honest. I wasn't able to accept that after seeing 4K and completing the game that way. And the Free Biomutant PS5 upgrade? Still not true 4K like the disc version, so I dumped that too.

I wrapped up the main quest. I have to say I found Sebastian’s storyline to be the best and most interesting of everything I did.

Also, the unforgivable courses were definitely useful and considering all the murdering the main character does with “good” spells like confrigo/bombarda they really arent that bad.

The main character out there killing goblins and dark wizardz and them blaming Ranrok for it. “Their blood is in your hands Ranrok!” Lol.

Game sure does get boring once you complete the main story + side quests like most open world games.

I’d say it’s worth it to make a new character & choose a new house each time. They each have an alternate unique house as well as a different alternate opening main mission before you reach the map chamber.
