cool thanks, well he emailed me today. he has everything except the box, its mint condition. so i offered him $600 cash for it and he said the lowest he will go is $700. it would be a 100 mile 2 hour ride for me, so i figure i offer him $600. i will see what i want to do

I would use both in a heartbeat! Are gonna get rid of the NSD why not keep it?

I really think the only thing you will get out of the pb plus over thpc nsd is more power. The sub is a bit deeper and larger so you might be able to hear some diff..... Do what your heart tells you to

Really no need for 2 subs in my townhouse. i think the pb12 plus would be more than enough, infact the NSD is more than enough for me now

still trying to decide if i want to grab this for $700 or not. if i sell my NSD for $500 plus shipping than it would only be $200 out of pocket. hmmmmmm

thanks stiffy, this thing is a beast also, weighs like 110 Lbs or so

i think it will take 2 guys to move it into my townhouse

so what do you guys think???? is it worth it??

Here is what I say..... I it is in good condish then get it....... I upgraded because at the time I had the extra money and I knew I would have regreted it if I got the nsd........ If anything you will now feel more bass and that is what I like........ If you think your nsd shacks JUST WAIT The PLUS shacks your ass.....

I kinda think it's worth it, but with what you explained, then my answer is "No" it's not worth it.

ya i dont know. i dont think my NSD is a slouch at all. it really does well in my setup. i wondering as the pb plus will take up some room and weighs alot, but rocks from what i hear.

I would get the same as what you have already. I believe it would be easier to calibrate together.

I have read where other have both and they didn't have any issues with calibrating them together.

It would seem to me that if your going to calibrating two different sub, it makes me think of the old saying.

"Your chain is only strong as your weakest link"

What I mean by that is, I feel your going to have to bring the Ultra db down to what the Plus is going to put out.

Two Plus's without a doubt.

I feel the Ultra and Plus are pretty close and having two Plus's will out due a single Ultra, and I'm not talking about just SPL's.

700 is a steal for that sub even if it is two hrs away. It is a reason why there is about a 700 dollar difference btw the plus and the nsd and its not a small reason. The plus is in a whole other class. I have heard both the nsd and the plus thanks to people I know that have them. I don't think lowballing his already low asking price will help you get it. That just my humble opinion
