I am in absolute HEAVEN since I heard about this yesterday! I have been waiting a long time to get this re-released here in the U.S. and now it's on Blu-ray! Wow.

When Discotek does two part series any idea how long the wait time usually is for the second half? I hope it isn’t too long a wait.

My only experience with the property is the Korean adaptation, which I quite love and want on Blu-ray (I believe sadly that YA Entertainment, which did the series on DVD for the US, has been out of business for years).

But my admiration of the above series gave me interest in looking at the anime.

I dont know if this was addressed anywhere, but will the Discotek English dub keep everyone's name the same as the original Japanese?

When ADV did the dubs, they changed Ryo to "Joe" and Saeko to "Sandra".
I hope that's not the case again.

The subs are revised for a better translation, while I’d assume if there is a dub, it’ll be left as-is. I always think foreign works should be viewed in their original language, so if the dub changed the names, that’s still gonna be there.

They've already dubbed Shinjuku Private Eyes and shown it at Otakon 2019. I'm expecting a Spring 2020 release on that.

Yeah I was referring to the new Shnjuku Prvate Eyes film mostly.
I guess theyd dub the other OVA's/TV specials/movies with their own studio whenever the time comes.
