Default Remastered Movies Available in 1080p

It has recently come to my attention that movies that are in '4K HDR' which more often than not uderlize the most most updated and best masters/transfers DO NOT downscale to 1080p for those of us who still use 1080p screens.

So I thought this thread could be used for iTunes 1080p users who want to know which movies are remastered when making a purchase of the 1080p version.

These are the ones I know of

Halloween (1978) - Same scan used on the 2013 Blu-Ray remaster

The Matrix: Reloaded and The Matrix: Revolution. I have not checked these but another member mentioned that the 'HD versions' were the remastered transfers which I believe are also available on standard Blu-Ray

Please continue to add to the list or contribute to the discussion, it would be very helpful.

I thought the Halloween master was the 2007 one, seeing as Trancas Int. are the iTunes distributors?

I still only have 720p, for another week till my 4K arrives but the Dark knight trilogy, Lawrence of Arabia, War of the worlds all had their HD updated.

Really? I was told that it was the remastered 2013 transfer, and the copyright on the iTunes page says 2015. I also rented it myself not too long ago, and it certainly looked closer to the colder, more de-saturated look of the remaster.

That's interesting, maybe it has been updated then. That would be a pleasant surprise, as I'd rather it be the 2013 version if we aren't going to get a 4K upgrade...
