Default Jet.com Codes, Deals, & Information Thread

Update: Get $15 off $35 with the code 15bucksnow

Jet.com has a new code offer giving first time customers $10 off their first $35+ order. Additionally when you sign up you can expand your 3-month trial to a 12-month one.

Step 1: Sign up for an account at Jet.com, and enter CURISMA where it asks for a promo code during registration

Step 2; Shop for whatever you want that totals $35

Step 3: Enter the code SAVELOTS at checkout.

Both the $10 off, and the 12-month trial should show up, as such:

With the $10 off, you can get some pretty great deals from them.

Nice, thanks, MifuneFan!

I've procrastinated opening an account here, and I guess it has paid off. Between the $10 off and the 12 month (vs. 3 month, or even the 6 month promo they had earlier), this is a much better incentive to finally open up an account and test this site out.

However, now that I think about it, I just wonder if there will be an even better deal closer to the holiday season if they really want to make a big push to enroll people and acquire new customers.

Is there a way to browse the site to see what kinds of prices they have before signing up for an account?

Yeah, what sort of deals are being found here? Haven't investigated thoroughly yet, but so far I'm not seeing anything that great in books or music, much less blu-ray.

The more you buy the cheaper your items in your cart before the $10, so it's hard to say what kind of deal you can get for sure. Their movie section isn't all that good right now, but there are some deals to be had.

Right now my cart has this in it:

The Art of Porco Rosso
It Happened One Night (Criterion)

Total: $31.26 shipped (or 0.27 cheaper if you wave the free return)

If anyone has priced those Ghibli books, this works out to be a pretty excellent value.

edit: I should mention, the total above is with tax included. If your state doesn't get taxed, it'll be like $3-4 cheaper than that. These states are taxed at Jet: Kansas, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, and Utah

10 Things You Need To Know About the Recently Launched Amazon Competitor, Jet.com

1. Marketed as having a “nifty price tool” that discovers the “best prices off the web”, Jet.com markets itself as an online warehouse that typically saves customers “10 to 15″ percent from all other available online prices.

2. Small items and large items alike are among the 10 million plus items available on Jet.com, as are bulk based items and singular products, as well.

3. Jet.com orders items in bulk from other online companies, allowing them to reduce their retail price on their own website.

4. Beyond buying on Jet.com, customers of Jet.com are encouraged to “Jet Anywhere” and shop on other sites that include Macy's and the Gap as part of an affiliate program they have with these merchants.

5. Chinese mega-company Alibaba.com reportedly invested in Jet.com – aiming to challenge Amazon.com in their online popularity among consumers.

6. Returns are available for free within 30 days of purchase on Jet.com, with Jet.com adding additional savings to final purchases if customers waive this option.

7. Jet.com offers something called “smart card” items that automatically unlocks additional savings when added to customer shopping carts.

8. Funding received for Jet.com has totaled $225 million, with 17 total investors involved according to Crunchbase.com.

9. The founder of Jet.com is Marc Lore, an eCommerce veteran who previously was the co-founder, chairman and CEO of Quidsi, the parent company of Diapers.com and Soap.com.

10. The annual membership of Jet.com is $49.99 – which is about a $5 savings from Costco’s “gold star” membership rate and about $50 less than Amazon’s Prime membership – and is currently being offered for free for a 90 day trial.

If anyone is in the market for just some Criterion titles, the deals are pretty solid too.

It Happened One Night and Sword of Doom comes to $32.94 for me, and that's with the $3.50 tax I'm charged. So it'll be under $30 for both if you're in a non-taxed state. Only way you can get a deal that good (and sometimes better) from a retailer is at B&N with a coupon during their 50% off sales.

I think their movie selections are pretty great, actually, you just have to narrow your search results. Make sure you click "Books & Other Media" then "Movies & TV."

When you place a decent size order ($60 and over), there are plenty of Scream Factory CE's to be had for under $15, cheap Olive discs, etc. I even managed to snag I Know What You Did Last Summer for 99 cents, Dan Curtis' Dracula for just over $7, and Naked Lunch for $16.

I've been on a lot of websites; but they hands down may have the worst site navigation I've ever come across! Took me almost 10 minutes just to find the blu-ray "section" (if you can even call it that). WTF!

haha tell me about it. Nothing against you Mifune.
But yeah trying to find a needle in a haystack sucks.
I mean the site isn't bad just looking for things is very unpleasant.

Also thank you Mifune. Still looking for something to get.

You can sign up for an account without worry as the free trial doesn't begin until you place your first order.

One thing I noticed was that there is a promotional credit code box during checkout. Right above the box it states "Start your trial now! No auto-enroll."

If I try to apply another free membership trial code I get the following message:

"Please apply membership extension codes in your account"

I can't find how you apply membership extension codes in your account but I haven't placed my first order either. I'm curious to see if this means people will be able to extend their free membership at some point.

Here's a direct link to the Blu-rays.

https://jet.com/search?category=1000...ibute=Brands~0

I noticed they only have about 504 titles currently listed as where before they had close to 4500.

That list definitely isn't accurate from what I've noticed. Like if you searched for various Criterion titles they'll show up, but they're not on the list above. One other thing I noticed is I searched earlier and got a list of 504 too, but they seemed to be different from the titles I'm looking at when I clicked your link. I

Yeah you pretty much just have to keep searching till you find what you are looking for it appears.

I copy and pasted the previous link I posted. However, I noticed there no longer seems to be a Blu-ray option to select when filtering titles so maybe they changed something on their site. But it seemed like it was much easier to find something a month or so ago.

I've found some pretty good prices on some Anime & TV seasons on my wishlist. Now I just need to narrow it down.
