Any folks out there still own and/or buy PS1 games? I bought my girlfriend a couple of Resident Evil figures and it's kind of kickstarted an obsession with the original PlayStation. I've always been into PS1 games but as of late, I've been scouring eBay, searching for the ones I had as a kid but which got lost along the way. They've temporarily replaced Blu-rays as my go-to outlet for treating myself.

My other half and I have merged our collections together since I moved in, although the digital ones are all down to her.

I was never hugely into video games in my childhood, funnily enough. I had a few, some of them lost now so my "physical" PS1 collection is a bit smaller than it would have been otherwise. I only really started getting into games in my teens, and only in the last few years have I started making an effort to get my hands on some of those old classics I missed out on back in the day.

While I always enjoy owning a physical copy of something, when it comes to PS1 games I buy most of them digitally via the North American PS Store nowadays. I love finally being able to (legally) play the NTSC versions, plus some great games were never released in Europe to begin with.

imho GT2 hasnt yet been topped in the gt series.

I own some pPS1 ff games and xenogears along with GT2 which I only play on my dreamcast with that old bleemcast disc.
