Question JB Hi-Fi online order?

I am looking to order some of the cheep James Bond BD titles to complete my collection but they are all listed as part of the Online Clearance Sale and awaiting stock. However available for delivery. So not available in-store.

According to the web site "Awaiting Stock" – the Goods will need to be ordered from the supplier or transferred from another JB Hi-Fi store. JB Hi-Fi aims to have the Goods dispatched to you within 5-9 business days So will be an extra 99c delivery for each of the 11 titles I am looking at getting. Having never ordered from JB on-line is this the usual delivery time frame? What is the packing and shipping like? Especially for a larger order like this.

I order from them often and have it shipped to the US (CA). It takes about 2-3 days to process and ship and about 7-10 to arrive here in a cardboard mailer. Never had any missing or late items and never had any damaged items.

I also ordered a back-ordered item (undead), which did ship in the estimated 5-9 additional days they listed.

Pretty sure that everything I've ordered that's been 'awaiting stock' has shipped within a few days. Stuff that is listed as 'special order' is a bit more hit-and-miss, a few of those have been cancelled after they couldn't get stock.

Now that they are out of print it's possible that the distributor won't have anymore stock, or may only be able to fulfill some of the orders. I bought the Bond 50 set years ago, I was never too fond of the packaging for either of the two sets that were released here. A couple of years ago Big W had half of the individual releases for $8 each, so I bought the 10 they had on offer and put them in a cupboard with the intention of purchasing the rest at some point. I've picked up the rest at a couple of JB stores over the last couples of days, except for 'The Man with the Golden Gun' which I had to order online. Apparently there isn't much stock left of them all in the entire company.

Decided to place an order. I'll see how I go for the Awaiting Stock titles. Out of the 11 BD. 6 in stock and 5 Awaiting Stock. Thunderball is still $15.18. Also noticed that JB doesn't have the latest bond film Skyfall listed on there web site.

I was wrong, I thought because JB were clearing them out that they were OOP, as the majority of the time that is the case. However I just spoke to the local distributor and was told that they are still listed as being active in their database (which is good news for anyone who chooses to order them, their orders will definitely be fulfilled), so it would appear that JB are simply no longer going to stock them.

10 of the 11 James Bond blu-ray I order last Friday shipped today. Just 1 still awaiting stock. Hopefully I will get it. All the Bond titles listed at JB seem to be awaiting stock now. So happy to get my order.

These are the newer 2012 releases. I have 8 of the original 2009 Bond blu-ray local releases with different covers. Good to finally be able to complete my collection at a decent price. As from what I've read when the Bond titles were originally released on Blu-ray in 2009. Only a random selection of 13 out of the 22 titles were available individually.

I ordered two seasons of Columbo Blu-Ray from Oz to the UK. Arrived in two weeks. Had to pay customs, but that's to be expected. So I'm happy with them. More happy if they release more seasons of Columbo, though.

Arrived Today (7/7/15) in two separate lots. 6 in cardboard box with peanut packing. 4 in padded bubble mailer. All in perfect condition except for 1 blu-ray in the padded bubble mailer that arrived damaged. Now I have to organise a replacement. Sent message to customer support.

UPDATE 1: Ended up dropping the damaged blu-ray off at my local JB store. They called online and organised to have a replacement sent out. Hopefully it doesn't arrive damaged. Along with the last remaining blu-ray from my order that recently shipped.

UPDATE 2: Replacement again arrived damaged. Went in store on 23/7 and they gave me a refund as they don't stock replacement blu-ray cases or this title. They have also ordered me yet another copy of the blu-ray. Hopefully they can get it. This time I will pickup in store. Don't fancy another copy mailed to me in there flimsy bubble punch mailer arriving damaged for the third time.

UPDATE 3: Called today 7/8 to check on order status at JB store. Spoke to someone who went looking for the title. Came back and told me it was somewhere in the store but they couldn't find it. So they are going to order me yet another copy. Hopefully they will call me when it comes in or earlier if they find the missing one. Hopefully they will finally get me the blu-ray I ordered back on the 26th June 2015.

UPDATE 4: Went to store today 10/8 as I was nearby to check on order status. Unable to order in any more Bond blu-ray. They however managed to find the last store copy in Australia for me in another Sydney store. They are going to transfer it from there to my local store. Hopefully I get to pickup later this week when it arrives and is undamaged.

UPDATE 5: Finally picked up my replacement blu-ray today 14/8 in perfect condition. Transferred from another store. Apparently the last one in Australia stocked by JB HiFi.
