Are these hidden test patterns on ALL Sony Blu-ray discs? What do they allow you to adjust? Is it similiar to THX Optimizer? Thanks.

I don't think they're on ALL Sony Blus. As far as I know/knew, they're just to show you that your display is working perfectly.

Hidden Sony test patterns? This is the first I've heard of it. Where are they hidden?

I heard of this on some Sony discs. You need to enter a code, 7669 I believe.
