In other words, lots of cheap shots from enemies attack from all sides when you only have two guns to deal with them and their multiple hit meters to defeat them.
Even so, it's a neat novelty style game that reminds me of the old arcade games of this style.
I miss on rails games. That's something I'm definitely interested in picking up. Personally I'd like to play House of the Dead in VR.

To show how critical Indie Independent Developers were to PSVR1, consider there were over 650 PSVR1 games, and only a small handful were from AAA developers like Sony, Ubisoft and Bethesda. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...ation_VR_games

Yes, on rails arcade games can be fun, allowing the player to focus on the aiming. House of the Dead was fun and clever with a lot of enemy variety, yes.
On PSVR1, I actually still have to complete the prequel to Switchback.

For PSVR1, the average game length was 2 to 4 hours for most PSVR1 games, so it's good to hear these games have 6 to 8 hours of gameplay.

Moss 1, 4 hours for me to complete.
Moss 2, pending.
Astrobot Missions VR: 10+ hours and tons of replay value with new challenge levels and modes.
Skyrim VR: 30+ hours.

Of course for 59.99 for Horizon VR, that's a very expensive price for a 6 hour game compared to the same price for Horizon 2, which took me almost 20 hours to complete for the same price with the free PS4 to PS5 upgrade.

Here's hoping for many new PSVR2 games in 2023. Sony said more than 100+ will be available for PSVR2 at some point.

Ok, I have a serious question for you. How in the world did you complete Horizon 2 in 20 hours? Did you just do the main quests? I am playing it now and I do all of the side quests, errands, talk to all the people, ask every question available, etc. I am 27.5 hours into it and have completed 21.02% of the game.

This is what I see when I try to track the Call of the Mountain bundle and the Controller Charging Station:

Maybe Sony's distribution center is my next door neighbor?

I'll be severely disappointed if at least the bundle doesn't show up tomorrow.

Just received notification that UPS picked it up the bundle 30 minutes ago in LOUISVILLE, KY! I hope they've overnighted it!

The charging station still shows not picked up. I don't care if that doesn't show up tomorrow. I have an additional USB cable and can charge that way until the charging station arrives. I just want to play the d@mned thing.

Ha! Literally just got notified (while I was typing the above) that the controller charging station was also picked up. Both still show a delivery date of Feb. 22. Come on UPS. You can do this!

Same here. I just logged into my PC and in 10 minutes everything was shown as on the move.

There are a ton of us here in the UK whose orders are still pending and every single one of us ordered the version with Call of the Mountain. That cannot be a coincidence.

Yes, I focused on only the main story and skipped all but a couple of the side-missions. Only after the 20 or so hours to complete the story, did I start working on more side-missions. I was very eager to unlock the flying creature Sundial bird. The game has a ton of replay value, yes.

Hopefully the same can be said for Call of Mountain Horizon PSVR2.

Is State of Play on Thursday? Tomorrow being Wednesday.
4 PM ET, 1 PM PT in US.
4 new PSVR2 game reveals I heard, yes.

To those new to Virtual Reality, the PSVR2 will be an awesome way to see it for the first time. The PSVR1 was awesome, but PSVR2 will take things to the next level for sure I bet with the resolution, better tracking and hand grips.

Immersion into the actual stereo 3D video game world where it surrounds you everywhere you look is really cool, and if dizziness is not a factor, most of the first week will be trying to find time to play games in VR.

Remembering that if you start to feel dizzy, pause the game, close your eyes, and wait for a minute. If you still feel a little dizzy, I take off my headset and rest on my side for ten to 30 minutes until the dizziness or nausea is gone. Then I can return, taking things slower with the gameplay if needed, or playing a tamer game.

Fast movement can be an issue for those like me, who can get motion sickness while reading a book in a car going around fast turns or fast backroad hills.

Enjoy PSVR2!
