If a game is 9 hours, that's worth $50, yes. I agree, especially in VR.

If a game is 4 hours, no more than 39.99 like Moss for example.
Astrobot Missions VR was 39.99, and that gave me 20+ hours.

It's going to be very interesting to see how far the PSVR2 library has grown hopefully by 2024. I hope Sony has recruited a ton of Indy developers, since they are not able to get hardly any big AAA developers to make a game for PSVR2.

Bummed that Switchback looks like a step back from Rush of Blood, which was the game I played the most of on PSVR. That’s the PSVR2 game I was most hopeful about. I’m thinking it’s going to be an even longer time before I grab one.

No doubt my finger will lurk over the buy button as we get closer to Christmas and all my reasoning will be out of the window!

I'll have to check out the reviews feedback to see what happened. In the first game on PSVR1, I need to update the game as it's glitched/stuck on the snow level with the fast hag lady indoors.

Yes, hopefully some big, must-play PSVR2 games by then. So far, I was hoping Horizon VR would be the system seller but from the feedback here, it sounds mostly like a climbing game.

I hope most of the PSVR1 Indie developers make games for PSVR2 but take things up a notch for better games overall.

Now that we have PS5 running VR, I'm expecting a lot more with VR. So far, the games aren't bringing the "wow" factor yet.

Man them blowing Switchback is such a bummer. It's a blatant PSVR1 game that they just ported over. Was so hyped for it.

Switchback review.
They switched back alright.
Low resolution graphics for PSVR1 ported to PSVR2 sadly.
Frame rate issues.
They said this game lacks the charm of the prior game.
It's a good rails shooter despite those flaws they said.

Rush of Blood is exhausting with how many times you have to hit the triggers to keep alive with the onslaught of enemies. Good rails game though.
3 hour campaign about.

I tried the demo for Rush of Blood and didn't like it. The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR looks pretty interesting and I think it might be my next PSVR2 game. But I also really want to play the new game Tchia which is not VR. this would all be after I finish LRG Carrion lol.

I was in Best Buy, which is rare these days (they hardly have anything I want there anymore), and they didn't have the PSVR2 on display anywhere, or a PS5. Just showed a row of PS5 regular games. That store is mostly a gadget device, TV store these days compared to when you could find thousands of Disc movies, video games, music CDs, and more.
Digital has definitely impacted disc sales significantly. Thankfully online is a good option for disc format games or movies when the stores don't bother stocking new releases on release day.

I'm curious what makes you interested in Switchback if you didn't like the Rush of Blood demo? The gameplay is pretty much exactly the same, except by and large people who liked the first game actually think this new one is worse. I'd think if you didn't like the Rush of Blood demo you really wouldn't want to play this new one.

Well I’m still enjoying my VR experiences. I’m still glad I bought it. I don’t need new releases every month since I’m cheap
Think it’s still a great addition to PS5

Video games are definitely dying at Best Buy. Every store in my area has reduced their gaming section to a small collection of accessory-filled short shelves, with the consoles kept in the storage areas and games on a single shelf, with some bins of old titles they want to clear out for each respective console.

I’ve only just seen these but never knew it was a thing before. You can order prescription lenses for the PSVR2 so you don’t have to worry about wearing glasses.

I was going to buy this but me and my wife decided to buy the quest pro. There’s just not enough games out to buy the PSV2. We can use the quest on our computers.

Indeed, it is only a justifiable purchase if you are already invested in the PS4 VR titles or have sampled enough of those to know you want to invest in PS4/PS5 VR titles.

Moss 1 is a lot of fun and visually great with clever puzzles and gameplay.
I'll complete Moss 2 this year.

Very good game but I found the puzzles very samey. Prefer titles like Room VR, Statik, I Expect You To Die, Red Matter etc.

Graphics wise, stunning.

Moss 2 is so much better as well, worth if you ever get a PSVR2.

Saints & Sinners 1 & 2 are also excellent.
