AVP2 Did you pick up on references to other Alien & Predator movies?

I noticed that Hawkins is buried in the cemetary. In case you don't know what I'm talking about Hawkins was one of Dutch's team in Predator, he was the first to be killed. His name is on a tombstone in AVP2. Anyone else pick up on any references to the other movies? I know there were a lot of similarities between several of the older movies and AVP2.

I noticed a good chunk. Especially the older brother yelling 'get to the chopper!!".

My friends and I nearly died laughing in the theater at that.

There was also the fact that the predator dieing noises were the same noises as used in Aliens.

How about the way they did the credits with top part looking like Aliens and bottom looking like Predator....

Did anyone notice if any characters had same names as characters from the other movies?

i don't think any characters from the other movies were named genric kill count fodder

Yeah, I picked up on that too.

One that stuck out was the when the *spoiler* chopper was flying away from the blast roughly the same orchestral score was playing from Aliens when the dropship was escaping the nuclear blast from the atmospheric processor.*end of spoiler*
