I went to 6 DT's in my area, and probably wont do it again. The money spent on gas and the time it takes to get all these mostly crappy movies seems to negate the deals IMO. Most of the movies I picked up, I would have scrolled past if they were on Netflix. Anyways, here's to a last hurrah!

I found one copy of Taking Woodstock on Blu-Ray, it was from a brand new end cap box.

You all answered several key questions I had about this mess, and the images will help a great deal. The only other question that occurs to me is whether or not there are copies of these movies out there with the correct UPC's?

It might not matter, but it would be interesting imo to try to figure out the full extent of this ridiculousness. Maybe these mistakes are why all/some of these titles made it to DT?

In any event, I'll post elsewhere to bring this attention to the higher-ups and see if they have any particular way they want to deal with this issue. Thanks again.

I found justified season 3 blu ray one time in Buffalo. Definately rare.
Also found one copy each of fifty shades freed blu and gangster squad blu.

Superman III and Ip man season 1 were very rare as well. I checked 23 stores here. No sign of green lantern steel book or assault on Arkham.

I went around to a few stores this evening. I was mainly looking for We Are the Best (still haven't found it).

But.... I was shocked to find a 4K UHD copy of Avengers: Infinity War (minus the slip)!! It still has a Walmart sticker on the wrapping.

I picked it up as a Christmas gift, because I just couldn't pass that price up!

I honestly think so. I've seen some other printing mistakes on cover art with some of these Dollar Tree titles. For example, I have the complete series of Due South which came from Dollar Tree. It lists the set as containing all 65 episodes (even though there were 67 and the set has all of them). I saw a YTer who grabbed it and his cover art lists it as having all 67 episodes.

Many of these DT titles obviously come from Big Box stores where they didn't sell (you can find Walmart Black Friday promo stickers on copies from time to time), but I suspect others make it there because they have some sort of defect (like misprints on the cover art) and probably come to whatever company supplies Dollar Tree. Similarly, there are bluray copies of "Balls Out" and "Intramural" that have shown up. The disc art for the BD that comes in Balls Out has "Intramural" on it which one would assume is a printing or packaging mistake. Also, I can't remember the title, but some YTers found a double feature in a bluray case that the cover art just says is "DVD" rather than bluray. That may have been reported here as well and someone at least did confirm the disc is a BD rather than just a DVD despite the confusing packaging.

I also found Superman III and Justified SSN 3 on Blu-Ray out of the 4 stores I usually go to last week here in PA.
