I do have quite a few hard to find steels, but id probably have to go with this, since its limited to 700 and is the lowest print run of all my numbered steels, so far.

Rarest? I have the Kimchidvd Frozen but I don't think it is rare at all just expensive.
I have the Son of Batman steelbook and the Assault on Arkham steelbook which are both Target exclusives. They were sold out the first week of release. |

I guess mine would be my thor 2 best buy as those were not released in high quantities and sold out super fast.

Well if you read what i wrote, the 5,000 was a question, i dont know, but i know Target. The Frozen steels themselves aren't limited, its the slips technically, but they did come on the steel, and they were limited to 700, if you have it you should know.

For now I have the Auchan exclusive Green hornet (2000 prints), Mars Attacks (2500 prints from Zavvi), The prestige (2000 prints Zavvi), I saw the devil (2000 prints Zavvi exclusive) and The thing play.com exclusive (really hard to find now and expensive).
I have the really rare fnac exclusive for the following movies : Thor Captain America 1 and 2 Shutter island (really expensive and almost impossible to find with the booklet) |

I love when print runs for smaller countries like the UK are compared to print runs for large countries like the US.
Maybe it is just me, but considering the US has about 5x the population of the UK it would make sense that the print run in the US would be a little higher than the UK. ![]() IMHO all things being equal I don't think that would make a UK steelbook any more rare than the US counterpart. |

I guess "rare" is subject to a lot of debate. Maybe a steelbook that has a limited run and production coupled with high demand maybe called as such.
In terms of a slipcover such as the ever popular Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Comic-con exclusive slip which has a known existence of only 3-4 copies worldwide maybe deemed "rare" or the Dreamgirls AA Gold slipcover, of which only 1 or 2 have been known to exist. Search ebay and you won't find both of these slips. |
