Do you keep the cardboard packaging backing from your steelbooks and box sets?

I keep slipcovers, but always toss J-cards. The only real drawback I see - should I ever decide to get rid of any (not going to happen), I won't be able to get my dollar from FYE due to no UPC.

I used to throw the J-cards away immediately, but lately I've been keeping them in a drawer.

Funny how habits change.
I also used to always immediately open my new steelbooks the moment they arrived.
Nowadays I tend to keep them more and more sealed.

I always keep it because you just never know when a better version will come along and you'll want to sell the old one. I'm doing that almost weekly it seems, and it makes it much easier to sell when you have the J-card that has the UPC on it.

No. I have a friend that asked if I would save and send them to him. Before that, they went straight into the trash.

J-cards and 1/4 slips go to the trash and shredder.

I always keep mine. In the past I would fold them and stick them in the case or digibook, but lately i've been just leaving them on. Eapecially if they come with an adhesive, like many of my UK steelbooks do.

Helps resale value, has all the technical info on it, and sometimes they just look cool.

If it has a UPC or description on it, I keep it. If it is just a upc like Evil Dead (2013) Best Buy edition with bonus disc, I keep it. You really should keep these because they differentiate between editions. Especially in cataloging programs, and resale value.

Some call it sacrilege but I fold the j-card in half and stick it in the steelbook case. I like them and want to keep them but I don't want to store them somewhere else so in the steel they go.

When I was first collecting I binned them but then I started storing them in poly pockets.

I have sold a few when other variants have come out and you get a little more if it has the j-card/data sheet.

J-cards usually go straight in the trash, along with most (amaray) slips. Easier for uniformity and storage

I keep them to protect the steels from rubbing against each other.

If they're thin I just fold them in half and put them in the steelbook and if thicker I toss them in a box where I also store all my slips.

I leave slips on standard blus.

J cards i horde.

Thinking about selling some of the ones i don't care about on ebay

I use plastic slip covers to protect mine. So j cards don't fit plus ruin the art work

I keep them now. When I first started collecting steel books and special editions, I didn't keep anything extra. Now I keep everything except the plastic.
