Thinking about building my own HTS and was wondering if these could work together...

And how well would it work? Also what else would I need besides speaker wire?

You are on the right track! Yes, all you would need is speaker wire. You would probably get more responses if your query was posted in the HT Discussion forum.

Do you have a budget you are trying to follow. You may be able to get more bang for your buck!

Perhaps if you PM a MOD they can movie it for you.
