Yeah, I've been holding out for a US release just because that artwork is atrocious! I don't understand why releases like this and the Beverly Hills Cops series have region free releases in the UK, but not North American releases, it makes no sense!? I would assume Canada/US are a bigger market than the UK. I know Arrow's releases sure as hell sell out faster here!

I paid $23 bout 5 months ago and just traded in to Amazon for $15. I am going to import just the first movie because the rest were not as good as I remember

The movies are UV and disc to digital eligible however #4 is only available in SD for some reason...

Spambots have a tendency to copy and paste a message from the first page of the thread as their own and add a little tracking gif at the end of it. It's their modus operandi. Just report them and leave it at that.

Police Academy is one of them. From what I can tell it's just new packaging, but it's Region Free. All of the European discs used the same encode when initially released.

It's crazy to me these never got a domestic release in the US.

I'd love a boxset with the Struzan art, but I settled for the French set a number of years ago which doesn't have the "wacky" typeface and obnoxious covers like the rest of the world saw. WB really managed to butcher the posters and to me they're some of the best one-sheets from the 80s.

The French release is just housed in a single case. When it was first released, WB botched a couple of the sequels and used Canadian French in lieu of French for the audio tracks but they were corrected not long after. I picked it up in 2017 and they were fixed back then if this matters to you.
