Yeah, I can't justify the AV10 either. I've spent way more than I should'a already with last summer's upgrades. Weird though that Pioneer doesn't have separate sub controls. Maybe they have a reason or didn't feel they needed it. Dirac is supposed to be pretty awesome, after all.
Sounds like you are keeping the MFW-15 for nostalgia's sake....that is a lot of moving parts going on there.

I guess Pioneer does not consider that essential, even if it is one of their better AVR's.

Yeah, I couldn't get myself to get rid of it. That thing running solo still digs deeper than both of my PSA XV-15se's running simultaneously. Which is a good thing because turning it on gives the extra depth when I want/need it. Mark Seaton (the MFW original designer), has a re-designed replacement drop-in amp for it, which is supposed to also improve performance over the original amp. Class D too, so should run more efficiently, unlike the original amp which was notorious for dying. I want to get one, but he only releases them based on demand and I keep missing it.

I could not remember what a Class D amp does.....forgot that it operates by modulating the pulse at a very fast pace to remove high frequency noise and is not so much for gains. It seems they are very efficient, so I can see why this might work for your MFW, as it provides the volume without needing more power. Very Interesting.

Yeah most sub amps these days are Class D. I'm pretty sure SVS is all Class D now, too. I know my PB1000s are. My PSA subs are Class D, and they're coming up on 8 years now.

Makes sense.....I have been away too long. I have actually been reading up on Big Daddy's stickys to get caught back up. Amazing what you forget when you don't stay on top of things for a while.

How many subs can you control on the app?

Here is a video. He states that as long as you have a bluetooth enabled subwoofer, you can pair it with the app. He never mentions if there is a limited number you can pair or not. Once paired, you just switch between paired subwoofers by using the tab at the top of your phone/tablet.

Last night I realize that I should have asked SVS themselves. So I emailed them half hour ago and within 15 minutes got the answer (gotta love them customer service).
And Fors was right, there is no limit.

SVS Customer Service is very responsive. That is just another example of how they stand behind their products and why so many other members here recommend SVS for your subwoofer/speaker needs. If ordering internet direct, you can't beat them.

I've had direct online chats with them during their normal operating hours. I swear every time they left me with the impression that they actually wanted me to click that chat now button.

I used the chat once before, and they replied with an answer rather quickly, IMO.

Same here. I've used it several times and they were quick to respond every time.

I also got 2 free t-shirts with my PB1000s that I wear proudly.

I like their logo on a t-shirt, what color are they? I got a t-shirt with my Emo purchase (monoblocks)....I had to ask them to "throw it in" with my order, but they were good with it.

All black. I ordered another I think it was last October or November, so the design is still somewhat recent.

[Show spoiler]
The fit is perfect, too! I usually have to be picky about fit because you know I do all that working out stuff, but these have a modern cut - broad on the shoulders/arms and not too tight, but a slight taper to the waist so that it isn't flapping in the wind and getting caught on door handles lol.

Front

Back

Lookin' good. You got lucky with the cut/shape of the shirt based on your body type. My Emo t-shirt was not forgiving at the time (but they fit me great now that I lost the weight!)

To be honest, I would simply prefer just the letter logo of "SVS" on the front, nothing else on the back, but that is just me.

For sure. All 3 shirts I have are cut exactly the same, too. Not much variance. So even their t-shirts are of good quality and not cheap.

That's funny cause I prefer nothing on the front and the logo on the back!
