Yeah and you're supposed to take breaks when you need them. I take breaks during the ab ripper and the Plyometrics.

I'm up for my second jog this afternoon then ab ripper x again!

I ordered up the P90x. It's on Amazon for around $70 new. Which is half the price of buying it directly from them. We'll see what happens. I've lost about 4 lbs so far by just watching what I eat(especially @ night) I'm so used to eating double portions etc. So I've been fighting it.

You won't regret it, just make sure you map out a plan for yourself. What you want to do, build or tone. It's easy to lose weight but to actually get in shape is harder.

I ate my hard boiled egg and some hashbrowns for carbs when I go joggin later. Going for 2 miles again. Might try to push a little more.

so I'm looking into getting one of those home pull up bars. Just wondering, do they mess up your doorway? Also, is it better to get one that mounts easily or one that you have to put together? What's a reliable one to spend money on?

$37 all over eBay and you can actually wrap a towel around each corner so it won't hurt your door opening.

6'2" 205lbs (was 225lbs January 1st)

I've been doing Yoga 1 to 2 times a week, ab/core class once a week (right after one of the yoga classes)
Gym 2-4 times a week.. Working out, rock climbing inside the gym
Very little cardio (runnning when my knee co-operates and some bike)

I've lost about 20lbs since January. Better diet is a big part of the reason...less potatoes, pretty much no ice cream (used to be a few times a week).

Mon-Friday
Breakfast: usually cereal (Special K, Honey Bunches of Oats, Kashi Go Lean (pretty tasty actually).. Carrot juice sometimes
Lunch: burger, chicken sandwich, turkey burger.. Fries or salad or half and half.. $3.50 at my works cafe!
Dinner: Energy bar, juice, veggies.. Fast food (school nights.. Really need to be more disciplined).. Yeah, dinner is where my discipline really slips..

Chocolate milk before bed

Try switching from cereal to Weight controll Oatmeal. It has way less sugar, ALOT less calories ( plus you can use water instead of milk), fiber and protieen. and tastes great, its ben my breakfest everyday for the last couple months, Plus my cholesteral has gotten way better.

when you eat beef burgers try to find ones that are 93% lean, anything less than that isnt really lean. Ive found some frozen patties that are %93 lean, only 210 calories, and 24 grams of proteen a patty. and they taste awesome. turkey burgers are good too.

Milk is still good for you , but in small portions. also I switched to %1. taste just the same as 2 and is better for you

Cool, thanks for the tips Forrestandjen07.

My lunches are from my work cafe.. All I know is they claim the burgers are hormone free Nieman Ranch (they are smaller portioned burgers).

Yeah, I'm using 1% milk with the cereal as well. Reason is milk is stocked at my work so I just have to bring in the cereal which is inexpensive.

I can't say I've ever had oatmeal of ANY kind but I'll check out what you recommended.

31 years of age, diet is key in weight, paired with exercise. I've definitely learned that.

Cool thing I've noticed with yoga is it has actually helped with some of the weight room exercises.. Plus I sleep better on days I do yoga and sleep is crucial for weight and health in general.

yea, Yoga is good for breathing, and the better you breath, the better your metabolisim works. allways remmmember to drink plunty of water, more water than anything,,water keeps your kidneys and liver hydrated, by doing that the liver is able to increase the iffisancy(sp?) of your fat burning ability. Also people alot of times tend to mistake hungry for what really is thirst. Try drinking a glass of water when you feel alittle hungry, wait 30 minutes and see if you are still hungry

plus it is sugar/and calorie free

I tried eating oatmeal a couple months back. My taste buds went to war with my brain. Sorry. Just not for me. Unless anyone has a specific flavor/brand they can recommend.

I eat 3000+ calories a day no joke.

I'm actually trying to become a body builder. I've been working out for 11months now and I've put on about 20lbs of muscle. My bench went from 150lbs or so to 335 the other day, without a spotter. 1.5-2 hours at the gym everyday, except Sunday and Wednesday are my days off. Epistane is great

This next week however is starting my cutting cycle. So, it'll be cut to about 1500 calories per day, 200g of protein and 1 hour of cardio each day. I'll also be taking lean xtreme and my everyday flaxseed oil, fish oils, multi vitamin, and liver support, and probably going to take Diesel Test Hardcore for my PCT since I'm stopping my Epistane cycle.

I suggest you try Kettlebells.

I've been working out last 8 years 5 days a week, ~1.5 hours a day and I've tried lots of stuff during those years. LAST YEAR IT"S pretty much 100% with kettlebells.

So far I haven't seen anything as brutal and effective. Pretty hard in the beginning but the results are spectacular too, be it a weight loss, endurance or strength.

I myself still try to gain muscle mass, never had to loose weight, but considering that even 20 minutes of simple swings will do to you, no way you can keep any extra fat on you with those.

BTW, Lance Armstrong was using kettlebells for his Cardio when he was preparing for his comeback. That is, lots of folks see kettlebells as just strength training, but in fact it is very serious cardio too.

If you are short on time, 20 mins of swings(if you can do it) followed by 2-3 sets of Turkish Getups will work out your entire body.

I'm proud of the progress I made jogging last week. 3 times last week and 2 were nonstop. Got my time for 2 miles at 20 minutes. I'm going to go a bit further this week.

I follow up the jog with Ab Ripper X.

I need to go buy weights on my next paycheck. I was going to buy some this week but I ended up spending too much money on Blu's lol.
