Default Friday the 13th Collection DVD

I recently traded in a lot of DVDs to free up some room for blu rays and 4K. For years Iíve had the Friday the 13th collection on DVD, a long with the Nightmare on Elm Street original DVD collection, Scream original trilogy collection. I traded them in to a random video store and got next to nothing for them, which I expected, but now from some research I am seeing they are going for a decent amount on some sites online.

You guys think itís worth buying them back from the store and reselling them online for more towards what they are worth? I went back to the store recently and saw the ones I gave them on display and they are only priced at like $10.00. Feel like it might be worth picking back up.

Anyway, thanks for input!

Depends which you value more, time or money. The effort I would expend on getting the discs back and then trying to unload them for more is out of balance with what I would spend just eating the loss and buying the new sets.

Unless something is rare / OOP, used DVDs usually don't go for much. Don't bother; chances are they'll collect dust, and you'll lose money.

Being a fanatic of the Friday the 13th, I can tell you that the DVD collection in the opening post has an audio commentary not available on the Blu-rau collection. But ither than that, I would agree that the Blu-ray collection is the way to go.

speaking of the blu ray collections, Walmart has the Elm Street movie collection for blu ray where its packaged with a little funko keychain. Does that have all of the bonus features from the previous blu ray collection of the Elm Street movies?

I've seen this in-store, but haven't examined it. 99.9% it's the same exact collection, packed in a larger box w/ the keychain. Check the back of the box; as long as it has the bonus features disc, you're good to go. This set has gone on sale every Halloween season since its release, and WB have never dropped anything. No reason they would start to now.
