It would seem like we are supposed to believe that Miz somehow paid the hurt business APA style to take out Drew. Makes little sense as to why Lashley would agree to do this unless its just because he figures he can take out Miz easily enough.

Presumably we get DB/RR at Fastlane before Edge/RR at WM.

My guess is MVP went to Miz and said he would have Lashley take out Drew if Miz promised Lashley a shot at the title.

Anybody but Miz, Lashley or Sheamus in the WWE Title picture at Mania please.

Why does the company have a history of always managing to drop the ball this close to the big event when they have a ridiculously easy or clear path? Keep the belt on Drew, and either have a returning Lesnar drop him on the Raw after Fastlane, building to their rematch, or turn Keith Lee heel and give him the push that he and the Raw brand needs. I'd be fine with the previous rumors of Drew/Lesnar/Lee even.

I dont see Miz losing the title a week after getting it but I'm still looking forward to the Miz/Lashley match. Thought they would have saved it for Fastlane but hey. They have to get Drew back into the title scene as well somehow.

On a side note, has anybody else seen Young Rock? I just saw the first ep on Hulu, it was pretty good. The best part for me was the kid scenes where they have all the old wrestlers.

Miz ain’t making it past Fastlane as champion. Vince can’t be that dumb.

Besides, they started a Miz/Morrison vs Priest/Bad Bunny program, so they’re likely going to finish it at WM.

For whatever reason, they decided to have Miz as transitional champ now instead of months ago when he could’ve at least had a months long reign.

Can't believe Big Show has left WWE. He's one of those "lifer" guys like HBK, Taker and HHH who I never ever considered going to a different promotion. He must have been really screwed over with his new contract offer...

But yeah, I see Miz losing the title at Fastlane (which is a PPV they should really get rid of since they have to scramble for stuff for it every year... one ppv between RR and WM is enough), the real question is to who.

So Miz would rather chase a celebrity for revenge in a high profile mid-card match instead of revoking his rematch clause on the grandest stage in pro wrestling?

Who am I kidding though? He’ll probably never get his rematch, just like Owens never got his before WM33, and Wyatt never got his before WM36. The company has a history of doing this before the big event.

The Rematch clause has tended to go by the wayside so many times. Lashley cost McIntyre his title and wound up not demanding his rematch the next night somehow Strowman was in the picture.

The McMahons got rid of automatic rematches a while ago, there was a big speech about how rematches had to be earned. Not that they have exactly stuck to that of course.
