Is this any better than Breath of the Wild?.. I finally played that game after sitting on it for over a year, horrible let down, I deeply hate that game. Main problem was that it’s not a game of skill, solving puzzles meant trying to get Link to correctly aim at what your looking at while clubbing something with a hammer that keeps breaking.. time off being precious I can no longer abide that kind of tedium.

I don’t recall in older Zelda games, puzzles that were the equivalent of quarter eating arcade games, not main mission stuff anyway.. it definitely took skill to get Epona out of the stable in Ocarina

$70 for a game like this isn't an issue. We already know we're gonna get a quality game that we can sink hundreds of hours into. It's all the other games that are quick 10-20 hour experiences that aren't always completely stellar that don't justify the $70 price tag. Game companies can charge whatever price they want but it's up to the consumer to vote with their wallet on if a game is worth that price. Don't give into the hype and wait for a price drop if you're not positive this is a day 1 must play that will be worth your money. It's really that simple.

Luigis Mansion 3, a 3-1/2 year old game, 60.00. Mario Odyssey, a 6 year old game, 60.00. Mario Maker 2, a 4 year old game, 60.00. And that's just a few examples. There's many more where older Switch games are still priced egregiously. I can't imagine that titles like these are flying off of shelves anymore. Why would Nintendo be so stubborn as to be willing to sit on inventory at that price when they could discount it and move so many more units? What's the thinking? Games like this should be 20-30 bucks by now. |

I consider this being $70 a joke given the hardware. In no way should a game running on PS3-like hardware be the same price as a game running on the PS5. I know this game will offer massive amounts of content, but there are games on the PS5 that do as well. I'd also be a little more understanding if it wasn't for the fact that 6 year old games are still full price almost every day of every year. |

The power of the hardware is irrelevant, as it's only really core gamers that care about this, the mass majority of Switch owners will simply buy and enjoy these games, and as for price, games are only ever worth what people are willing to pay, and with the Switch and it's very impressive software totals, they seem to have pitched it just right. Weather you agree or not has no bearing, outside of your own subjective opinion. |

They still haven't announced a Tears of the Kingdom console variant, although one has more or less been proven to exist. However, the Tears of the Kingdom limited edition console won't include the actual game.
