The Secret of Kells
Although I found it too similar to Wolfwalkers, which I had seen first somewhere. I love the graphic design of this release, but not the physical design, with those spongy disc holders and art that is loose in the box when you open it up.

I haven't watched much though. After two years of dodging it, COVID finally got me. After one week of antivirals (due to me having leukaemia) I ended up with a full-blown case of COVID. Slowly on the mend though.

I get that Phase 4 isn't as popular as the rest of the MCU but there are some real gems in there.

And what about Venom 1 and 2, and Morbius, which are connected because of Multiverse shenanigans.

(Although by that logic, the Raimi and Webb SPIDER-MAN films are connected now too because of No Way Home).

Not sure yet. Looking at the pdf I'm using, the first phase 4 film to appear is 'Black Widow', between 'Homecoming' and 'Black Panther'. I have been looking for deals on it, 'Eternals' & 'Shang-chi'. And then add in the other 3 not listed, 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness', 'Thor: Love and Thunder' and 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever'.

I've not actually seen any of the phase 4 films, I am interested but maybe not at full price. I guess it would be more straightforward with a month sub of Disney+. I may just stop at 'Spider-Man: No Way Home', then watch the others later. Personally I don't really have interest in seeing 'Morbius' & and 'Venom' films.
Once I've finished with 'No Way Home', if I'm still feeling like watching some Marvel, I could always go for some of the 'X-Men' films. Although I suspect I may want a Marvel break by that point.

____________

Looking at this Marvel.com post, this appears to be their chronological order list (I've excluded the shorts & TV):
[Show spoiler]
Quote:
  • Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
  • Captain Marvel (2019)
  • Iron Man (2008)
  • Iron Man 2 (2010)
  • Thor (2011)

  • The Avengers (2012)
  • Thor: The Dark World (2013)
  • Iron Man 3 (2013)
  • Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
  • Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)

  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)
  • Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
  • Ant-Man (2015)
  • Captain America: Civil War (2016)
  • Black Widow (2021)

  • Black Panther (2018)
  • Doctor Strange (2016)
  • Thor: Ragnarok (2017)
  • Ant-Man and the Wasp (2017)
  • Avengers: Infinity War (2017)

  • Avengers: Endgame (2019)
  • Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021)
  • Eternals (2021)
  • Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)
  • Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)

  • Wakanda Forever
  • Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

Their list seems to match up pretty close with the one I'm using, though it excludes 'The Incredible Hulk' and the 'Spider-Man' films as it's a "watch on Disney+" article, so not surprising.

I wish I had held onto the old Blu-ray bonus disc now. This 4K feels incomplete without it.

Watched (HD on Prime):

I have the series on DVD but Prime have it in HD so it's a no-brainer. The show looks absolutely gorgeous in 1080p, from the locale photography to the set and costume designs, it looks terrific.

Such a shame that this series wasn't given the opportunity to completely finish its tale, but where things finish at the end of year 2, it's an end of sorts.

This is a underrated gem from the 80s that sadly does not have a UK friendly release I think. So I picked it up from Amazon Prime. Looks good and hope that one day we will get this in the UK. Come on Arrow make it happen please.

It's a brilliant series. Top notch across the board. It was supposed to run 6 seasons but was cancelled after 2. It gets a resolution of sorts as there was supposed to be 3 stories covering 2 seasons each, which were interlinked but distinct. It was cancelled after 2, which largely wrapped up the first story but left many of the overhanging series plot elements dangling. Daniel Knauf did answer some questions later on after the series had been cancelled so you might want to bookmark these and check them out AFTER you've watched the series:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mythol...Carniv%C3%A0le
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charac...nale_and_fates

Even though it was cancelled early it's still well worth a watch

All the best mate. COVID's no fun on its own, even without any other complications. I dodged it for a couple of years but caught it about 6 months ago. Ended up in bed for about a week!
