He’s always been a good defender except when he’s on Embiid or KAT. They’re able to bully him but he can lock up almost everyone else, Center or not.

It was fun when we had Jrue and Rondo and if the ball actually made it past them they had to deal with AD

If he’s still taking pull up jumpers yes. If he’s playing in the paint or the post like in Miami he deserves 12

LA is built to win now and theyre definitely doing it. Nuggets and Jazz were a test and they plowed through them. If they’re getting a ring i hope its now and not the three or four years where we have their draft picks
Clippers seems more impressive than the Lakers imo. Clippers have beaten the best teams out there by double digits while the Lakers have had an easy schedule so far.

Nope! We suck at that! We were supposed to beat a short handed Raptors at HOME, and then a tired Mavs team at HOME... yet both times we funked it. We suck at actually winning supposed winnable games!

Huh? Lakers have only lost 3 games, all to teams with winning records. They've beaten all the teams with losing records so far.

You're not going to beat the good teams every time on your home court. And why would Dallas be the tired team? It wasn't a back to back and it was only the 3rd game that week for them and the 4th for the Lakers. If anything, it was the other way around.

They're both impressive. Not to take anything away from the Clippers, but they have played more home games than the Lakers and their schedule so far hasn't been anything to write home about either (9 teams so far with winning records).

Ok, maybe I was a little harsh earlier on the Mavs game, but I think the Raptors game without both Lowry and Ibaka is what upset me a little. We tied that game going into the 4th qtr, and then we just have no energy.

Clippers at least played against some of the best of the East and won. Lakers played Raptors and lost.

It's still early though. Should have a better idea after the all stars game.

Problem with the Clippers is their consistency. They can be very, very good. And other nights...not so good.

You can point out that the Lakers lost to this team or that team, but that's silly because they are 19-3.

Yeah it happens sometimes with all teams. Funny Lakers so far seem to be a better road team. We'll see how that plays out.

Point is, the Clippers are very good, there's no denying it. But they need to be more consistent. You're not going to see Lebron and AD combine to score only 30 points like Leonard and George did tonight.

Looks like Love is up for trade.

And potential borderline All-Star Hood tore his left Achilles.

As mentioned earlier, he had a game the other week where he took 16 shots in the paint and go to the line ZERO times. What he deserves is probably closer to ten than six.

So you're upset about ONE game out of 23? I'd say the Lakers are doing rather well, then. I fully expected them to go 2-1 on this little road trip, with games in Utah and Denver, but they won them by an average of 19 points. I'm definitely more convinced now that they've beaten quality teams on the road.

He should be a couple shots more at least. Last 5 years his average was around 7.5 and now it's 5.5. Harden was around 10 shots a game last 5 years but now it's suddenly ballooned up to 14.5 shots (his top year previously was 10.8 shots). Obviously Harden, being a great FT shooter, is hoping to get fouled, and oftentimes he'll just lose the ball on purpose while throwing his arms into the defender to force a whistle. It's like he has no intention of shooting the ball.

14.5 FTs a game is ridiculous and there should be a Harden rule to not permit an offensive player to invade the defenders space by lifting his arms into him.

Watched some of the Clips game last night and it was funny seeing Lou Williams complaining every single call against him. He was expending a lot of energy chasing after the refs and had to be restrained once. Even was angry after an obvious travel call.

If he could only have channeled some of the energy used against the refs to play better defense, then his stat line (-33 O/U in 23 minutes, 11 pts and 5 turnovers) might not have been so horrendous.

Shots in the paint doesn't mean contact in the paint.
