Yeah, I saw it. It's my favorite show right now on TV.
[Show spoiler]Sam using his psychic powers and Dean finding out he was saved by an Angel was the highlight of the show! The premiere started with a bang!
Can't wait for next episode. I'm a huge fan of this show! In fact we should rename this thread to Supernatural so we can discuss of upcoming episodes here.....this should be the official thread, agreed?

Never really got into it before, but I started watching re-runs of the last season and got hooked. I thought it was a very solid episode, now I've got another show to watch.

I've been watching this show since its inception but have never talked it up or anything, sorry. I think this truly may be one of the most underrated shows on network television. The style, stories, acting are all good, its got a lot for anyone who liked Buffy/Angel.

I've become very hesitant about buying DVDs/BDs of shows, Networks tending to cancel them outright and say "FU" and all. This is one I hope and pray ends well and satisfying be it this season or a few seasons from now. I'm seriously fighting the urge to buy the BDs this fall, but I probably will if they're releasing all the seasons from 1 onward.

I've watched the show from the beginning. I thought the season opener was one of the better episodes I have seen.

I liked it, but I didn't dig the
[Show spoiler]Angel angle. One of my favorite things about the show was that it never really affirmed any religious faith in the past, but now adding angels and God to the mix skews it toward favoring monotheistic faiths.

Of course, I recognize that they really needed a way to bring Dean back, so I guess I can let it slide. Plus, I guess it would be possible that Castiel is just a liar
.

Anyway, the way things are going, I think we might see
[Show spoiler]Sam vs. Dean
by the end of the season/series.

Here I'm going to have to disagree. That is what puzzles me so much. These two guys are a couple of the worst actors on television, the stories are average and predictable, but for some reason, I can't stop watching. Maybe I just like death and destruction that much.

Absolutely awesome show! I never miss it and I am super amped to pick it up on Blu-ray. I just wish it had been released before this season started so I could recap it. The DVDs came out before.... what gives? Oh well. Still a great show and I'm glad it's back on. The season premier was fantastic! Glad to have Dean back.

I've always wanted to watch the show, but never have. Then I watched this seasons premiere and was hooked. I caught last nights episode and thought it was great also. How many seasons are there? Is it worth it for me to rent them and watch them, or am I good just jumping in now?

It would make more sense if you watched the previous seasons. If you're not confused so far about Ruby, Sam's psychic powers, Dean's flashy dreams and all that....then I guess you're good. Me personally I would watch all the episodes if I haven't watched them already because it's really good.

Anyone watch "Criss Angel is a Douche Bag" on Thursday? The whole Dean/Chief part was hilarious LOL!

Yeah it was. Last week's episode was great though. I like when they do the kind of mystery/ horror like that. But
[Show spoiler]the two bad guys, a guy and girl, were human, but they killed them, well technically Dean killed the guy and the dad killed the daughter. But I thought they had a strict no human killing policy
. Still, it was good.

They were barely human though. They were eating rats, weren't they? Anyway, I'm looking forward to see what Sam is up to in the coming episodes.

The funny thing is this show seems to be the best source for scary entertainment out there right now. We got horror movies coming at us left and right but they're generally awful, while anytime Supernatural does a 'scary' episode (maybe a third of them?) it's way better than anything in the theaters lately.
