Why would anyone in their right mind come into a thread and read about a movie they haven't seen? They'd just be asking to be spoiled really.

No! Typically, member uses spoiler tags, if they're going to discuss secretive aspects of the film, such as the ending, and other important scenes, that may ruin the movie for others. Everybody haven't seen, or never heard of American History X. Anyway, spoiler tags should be used as a warning just in case.

How is it secretive? That makes no sense. It's in the film. There's no secrete about it. If you haven't seen it, don't come in the thread. There's a simpler solution.

Picked this one up at Best Buy yesterday for $4.99. Had not watched this film in years and I am shocked at how well this film holds up.

12 hours later & this question continues to resonate so much that I posted it on my Facebook and was amazed at the different answers I got.

All in all, a stunning release.

True. Not in any high school.
But perhaps it would be played in a college sociology or ethics class.

My college professor played some Hilary Swank movie (maybe it was Freedom Writers) to show tolerance and race issues and sociology... etc but I suggested CRASH. Now the professor shows Crash to her students each year.

It has the same special features as the DVD, nothing worthy for a Blu ray...

The upgraded picture quality is worthy for the Blu-ray, in itself.

And your post isn't worthy of bumping a thread that hasn't been posted in for over three years.
"Does the Blu-ray version of '.......' look better than it's DVD version?"

I'm so sick of this question. 99% of Blu-rays look better than their DVD counterpart. Period.

Looking at his other posts, he clearly has no interest in actually contributing to the discussions here - he was just trying to pad his post count because he wants to edit entries in the database.
