I wish they'd released In The Flesh on Blu-Ray over here in the US. I bought the DVDs they released anyway. It only annoys me that if they do eventually put it on Blu-Ray, I'll have to buy it again, or get a player that can handle an imported Blu-Ray and do that. (Which I can do pretty cheaply, actually, if I get a friend to help out.)

I finished watching Series 1 and 2 courtesy of the UK blu-ray set. I really enjoyed the first season a lot but didn't love season 2. I think the reason for this is because I thought the smaller scale human-drama style of the first season was better executed and much more emotionally gripping than the second season.

The UK blu-ray release boasts gorgeous picture and audio quality. No extras but a recommended release nonetheless.

I can understand that. Season 2 wandered away from the focus of Season 1 to build more on this world, when really, you just want to focus on Kieren and his friends and family. I still loved Season 2, but did sometimes miss the centralized focus of Season 1.

Thanks for the Blu-Ray recommendation. I'll make sure my next player is capable of all regions so I can import it.

The trailer was itself an awesome one , treat to watch.

Oh well, the BBC has cancelled another great supernatural series too soon. At least unlike The Fades this got a second season.

That's sad news indeed. The first series was some of the most interesting television I'd ever seen. And the second was still quite engaging.
