It also took a break in the summer and missed all the big films lol.

Yep, my thoughts exactly Tob.

The reply was something along the lines of "thanks for your interest, we've passed on your suggestion to the appropriate department." Nothing happened, but can't say I was surprised.

She's still listed on the BBC's website as the presenter, but I don't know if that's because they haven't altered it. I remember Gavin Esler hosting it too.

To be honest mate, I have a feeling it was probably one of those robotic automated responses you sometimes get from organisations rather than a reply from a real person.

A new Mark Kermode's Secrets of Cinema special aired on BBC Four tonight, about disaster movies. Haven't watched it yet, but even though they're more thrillers than disaster movies, I'm hoping Two Minute Warning and Rollercoaster get mentions.

On the horror genre edition he did, I was wondering if the original Halloween was going to get mentioned. It did (eventually).

I was glad to see on Ceefax last week that Jane Hill is back at the BBC (off for six months due to illness). Hopefully she'll be back on The Film Review soon. It has been strange without her on the show since late last year.
