Yeah Deels keeps on getting brought up in tiny amounts, and it's one of the mysteries from the first series that's yet to be properly acknowledged and how it ties into Carvel and Janus. There has to be something big behind it.

So they did resolve
[Show spoiler]Becky's deels thing, but didn't resolve much else. I read they're in talks for a 3rd and 4th series though.

It was fairly red herring, granted we're still unsure how Deels ties into the series main through line.

The final episode was good, slick and mostly exciting, with the Fast a Food Clerk proving to be a great end baddie. I also think Wilson becoming Mr. Rabbit was well done, although he really didn't need to carve himself, it made for a nice (maybe wrong word to describe it) image to end the series on. The whole just seemed to lack shocks and all worked rather mechanical, or was setting up bigger things, it was all a bit rushed. But I think Utopia has a real skill at moving along with pace, with a lot of information being duped upon you with levity despite the heafty ideas at work, so it's not really a complaint.

I'm not too sure how I feel about another two series, one more would give us a proper end place, I just don't know how long we can go with the same threads.

I agree, I'd like to see it end after a 3rd series. I think the show has been very tight so far and don't want to see it dragged out towards the end.

[Show spoiler]I think Wilson carving himself was more his way of finishing his transformation into a completely new person. Everyone kept telling him "you're not that kind of person" and so he became that kind of person for what he sees as the greater good. He doesn't want to be Wilson anymore, he's Mr Rabbit now.

While I've enjoyed series 2 it's never bettered that audacious opening 70's set prequel episode, it's had it's moments but S1 was definitely better and the ending was a bit meh! but I'll wait to see where series 3 takes us.

Far from terrible but a bit disappointing after what the first episode hinted at.

S1 had the mystery going for it, while S2 didn't really have much of a hook other than catching up with everyone and seeing what the Network were up to with Jessica. I enjoyed the first half more than the last couple of episodes. It was starting to feel a bit contrived really and I was a bit disappointed to see the end clearly pointing to a third series.

I'd have been happy with S1 as a complete standalone story. I'll keep watching but surely it'll be more of the same;
[Show spoiler]Wilson trying to release Janus and the rest of the gang trying to stop him, etc, etc

I really liked the ending. Extremely glad to see Pietra waking up.

I really do hope they put the second (and potentially 3rd, 4th) series on bluray. They said sales were bad from what I read, but they have next to zero marketing. Nothing does well if people don;t know it exists. I was planning on buying series 1 but I wont until they 2 is a sure thing.

So now we can't even have good shows on UK tv. I really hope some of these channels start losing money and go under. I'm tired of 2-3 seasons shows that are spectacular and garbage reality shows hitting 10+ seasons.

I enjoyed season 1, but I thought season 2 was rather poor after the flashback episode. It took half the season to get the gang back together and then the plot was pretty similar to season 1. I probably would not have watched more of this anyway, season 2 felt like they had run out of ideas.

I hate how whenever a UK TV show I like gets cancelled the statement always says the show was great but the channel has to make way for exciting new drama. It's getting really hard for me now to get excited about new dramas when they never seem to end properly and always seem to last no more than 2 seasons. God I hope Peaky Blinders makes it to a third season.

Sad this won't get another series. I hope whoever decided to end the second series unresolved gets Russian Flu.
