Amazon now has it listed for $19.99.

I have held off on buying it, but the completionist in me will probably pick it up.
Series 11 was a big letdown for me. The Doctor just came across as bland, indecisive and somewhat passive. I also wasn't a big fan of Series 10 so hopefully the show will improve, or I will probably stop watching new episodes and pick up more of the older shows.

In other news series 12 will feature an episode about a real life Muslim woman who was executed by the Nazi's in the Dachua concentration camp during WW2.

You couldn't make it up could you? Bet the whole thing was inspired by Chibnall typing "muslim woman of colour WW2 heroines" into Google.

That wouldn't necessarily be a problem if Chibnall showed even the remotest interest in the show's Muslim companion, but she's the show's worst (indeed barely) written character: a policewoman who is never allowed to use her police skills, who is never allowed any character and only seems to be there (in 'dramatic' terms) to give the Doctor someone to argue with but in reality because Chibnall seems to think casting a Muslim or a black actor in parts that week after week get nothing to do is progressive (and certainly critically bulletproof).

I'd never even heard of Noor Inayat Khan, and her story is intriguing and would have fit the original historical/informative part of the old show's brief, but knowing Chibnall he'll just make her as bland and ineffectual as Yaz and expect a round of applause for it. Give her a proper movie or TV series of her own instead.

I've never heard of the woman either. The BBC would be far better off making an actual documentary about her for anyone who may be interested, but Chibnall incorporating her into a Doctor Who episode just smacks of box-ticking in my opinion. Seems to be par for the course with the last series of Who.

I see they're lightening the tone of the show...

I enjoyed watching episodes about the Dalek involvement in WW2.

I suspect this will be similar to "Demons of the Punjab" and the Doctor and her friends will commiserate with the victim and otherwise do nothing.

On the other hand, they could make a decent episode if the Doctor and Company interact with her while she was a spy before she was captured.

I thought Rosa came very close to bad taste in trivialising a real person but the possibility of Whittaker's ADHD eight year old in a woman's body in Dachau is not something that should even be contemplated. Make a documentary about Noor Inayat Khan instead.

Axe the "fam". It's obvious there's not enough time for all 3.

Whenever this failed experiment of making the Doc a woman is over. Id love to see Micheal Sheen from Good Omens as either The Doctor or The Master

I could really go for seeing David Tennant as The Master. They've established that The Doctor can pick a face he's encountered before, no reason to think The Master couldn't do that, too.

The next Doctor will be not be anything like the first 12. Some will cheer that. Others will be unhappy. Glad the first seven can be watched instead.

My friends and I are waiting for the last episode of the new season - we're having a party to see her die. We've all given up on the series so we stopped watching after the second episode of last season. It will be the first Doctor that we'll be happy, not sad, who is about to change.

Apparently we're getting season two of Colin Baker next. Blu set is already up for preorder on Amazon.
