It's not aired yet, I'm predicting they'll air it mid-June now, towards the wrap up of Fargo.

It had science in it. It was fiction. Not all sci-fi is light sabers and space ships! Plenty of great sci-fi deals with the day to day world, but pushes an element of it to examine a possible outcome. Like Utopia does. Personally, I loved it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this when it was on last year and are looking forward to series 2.

Apparently David Fincher is involved with a remake with HBO, as much as I like Fincher and HBO not sure how I feel about that.

The original is pretty slick and Hollywood influenced for it to be fine for U.S audiences, I get HOC, the original was on years ago and they updated beautifully but this was on last year on Channel 4, seriously America you don't have to remake every damn thing.

They've started advertising for the second series, still no date but it should be starting again the beginning of July.

Ian McDiarmid

Blu Ray placeholder has come down from Amazon though. Looks like we're not going to get one.

It's looking more and more likely that the second one will be yet another ****ing UK DVD-only release.

Good opening, granted very rushed overview that might of worked better drip fed into the series, it was a lot to take in mixed with a lot we already knew. But everything was solid and the opening was as audacious as you could of imagined.

Thought that was the best episode of the show to date. Great stuff.

Tonight's episode felt a little bit off kilter in terms of style, just felt strange. You could tell it was directed by a different director, but also the writing felt a little more on the nose, both with quirks and in drama, it was also the first episode not to be written purely by Dennis Kelly. Just took me a while to get used to it, that aside, I feel it worked, the whole thing seems to be moving ever closer into annihilation and it think the shake up in style added a sense of urgency and unpredictability. Also was a nice reveal about
[Show spoiler]what happened to Dugdale's wife and Alice, felt their absents was a little jarring, so it filled in the blanks when it was revealed the Network was behind it. Also enjoying what they're doing with Jessica Hyde and Arby, I found Jessica to be a bit of a dampener in the first series, so to see her more unhinged, and therefore less rational it more fun then the wet blanket she came across first time around. And I like that Arby is playing his own angle on his things, although I'm fully expecting him to see the end of the road at the end of this series, and I kinda preferred his little comic book origin/redemption side story from the first series.

On top of that, I think the moment Milner and Wilson shared before ordering him to kill the two agents and Ian's brother was well done as well, and really showed the development of the emotional angle this series brought. Showing the weight of her actions and the fact she couldn't really bring herself to kill anymore, so Wilson being the deciding factor in whether the vaccination goes out was a very defining moment for that character. Granted the moment was a little diminished by Milner grabbing the knife to finish off Dugdale.

Only a couple things I didn't enjoy in the episode, the Ian/Jessica/Becky love triangle coming back is still the low point of the show, it's stronger this time around but I just don't look forward to seeing it play out. Grant still lacking in things to do, and didn't we do the dead children shock tactic last year?

Just realised how mad this series must be to anyone reading the spoiler tags without any knowledge of the show.

This show is phenomenal. I really like the Romanian guy's lines. "You're racist! He's from Romania but that's a coincidence, you still racist."

Logically it would seem that Jessica can now
[Show spoiler]kill Milna. She only stopped because she said her father was alive, but then she said he was with Ian. Jessica doesn't need Milna to find Ian so there's no reason not to shoot her. I can't see Milna living next episode without it being lame plot armor.
Then again I find this show is hard to predict what will happen.
I was sad to see Wilson Wilson
[Show spoiler]finally succumb fully to the dark side. I didn't think he'd be able to do it. Also, I keep expecting him to carve the symbol for rabbit on his stomach at some point.

I hope we get another flashback episode sometime showing the origin of Mr Rabbit and how Cristos came into this.

Only watched the first 2 episodes, the opening 70's set prequel episode was utterly brilliant and ep 2 was quality.

Damn shame about the Blu ray situation, was planning on getting series 1 and 2 at the end of the run.

Still have to ask why Fincher and HBO want to remake this?
It's good enough to stand on it's own as an export without a redo surely?

I can't see how they're planning a third season after this, everything seems like it's moving towards finality. Definitely looking forward to next weeks finale, I have no clue where or how it will play out, doesn't look like a hopeful conclusion for Planet Earth. It was a very big clean up episode, putting all the useful pieces into the forefront, cutting off the fat and dead weight and establishing some sort of end goal, but it also felt like we're beginning to lose steam now, so I'm really hoping we have some form of wrap up next week.

I really hope they do something with the Deels thing. Otherwise Becky's whole storyline feels wasted.
