Not yet, they have just started filming and it should be broadcast next year.

That came round quick! Can't believe it was nearly 2 years ago since the first one. Good TV though

Anyone still watching? Am enjoying it so far. Spoilers up to and including ep.2 of the second season below.

[Show spoiler]Anyone else think the guy that Claire's sleeping with could be the prostitute killer? They keep hinting at a vague tumultuous past there. The hints at the murderer being Nevison's employee (Neville Longbottom!) seem like a red herring. I was surprised Vicky was offed so early on, but it was really the only way that meeting was ever going to go. Exactly why do we think Catherine is being so bloody minded about not towing the line and eliminating herself as a suspect in the Royce murder? Going to the funeral seems like a truly daft decision.

Once again Series 2 didn't disapppoint, liked the way after going with the drug angle and the kidnapping rather than is the case when a hit series returns they amp it up and it goes more fantastical, Happy Valley series 2 actually dialed it back.

Things seemed more simplistic story wise and it seemed the aftermath of series 1 was of the main focus as well as the serial killer angle which was handled without cliche and formula. Kevin's Doyle's conflicted Police Officier was brilliantly handled and his melt down on the realisation of his crime was believable and chilling.

The ending was sobering but believable.

Can't really say which series is better, I would put them on a par personally. Sarah Lancashire was utterly electrifying as Sgt Catherine Cawood once again and James Norton for his brief appearances was scarily unhinged.

The rest of the supporting cast were superb as well and it appears that Series 3 is more than a possibility.

Yep was just as good as the first series we were hooked every night it was on. I wouldn't be surprised if they do a third and even carry it on for a good few years. Only being 6 episodes mean they can fill it with a lot of quality story telling.
