I agree, for what reason was the change made to have very limited info.?!?! The usefulness of the app became much less when that change was made. Frustrating. And frustrating that there’s no explanation for it.

i was looking for an app to catalog my collection. this one varies between good and i hate it. First, i wish i could scan multiple movies instead of 4 or 5 steps to add each. 2nd, sometimes it flows smoothly and then at others the lag loading each movie becomes unbearable, especially since i am trying to enter apx a 1000 movies. i had hoped to use this since blu ray .com can help me fill in the holes but i am almost to the point i would rather pay collextor z yearly for theirs

You can batch scan and import UPCs. On iOS the steps are:

1. Top left menu
2. "My scan history" near the middle
3. (Optional) Share button on bottom right, "Clear scan history", then exit the menu
4. Barcode button in bottom middle and scan as many as you want
5. When you're ready to import, click the share button on the bottom right, then "Bulk upload to collection"
6. (Optional) You can click on each entry to make sure the app matched the releases properly or add more details. Often Canadian and American releases share the same UPC.

I just downloaded this app for the first time, and the barcode scanner isn't working. I just get a black screen saying to hold my phone steady without the app using my camera or scanner at all

Anyone have any advice?

I am also a comic book nerd. I have an app that randomly chooses a comic from my library when I shake my phone.

Many of us have spent wayyyy to much time de iding which movie to watch. Would we be able to add a shake randomizer to the app to help us choose movies to watch?

And there is still no explanation as to why the iOS app was stripped to bare minimum info!???! …what was in there before was just text, so, it’s not like it took up a lot of memory or anything.

I am new here and absolutely loving all of the many features within the app. I noticed that I can filter the region playback code from Blurays, 4ks, and 3D Blurays. However, I cannot do this with DVDs. I am wondering if there is a way to add a region playback Filter for my DVDs within the app?

For some reason the app doesn’t show your DVDs by default anymore, but if you go into Settings under ‘Enable Movie Collections’ and check off DVD all of your DVDs will show up again under ‘My Collection’.
