Doh, really sorry about the slow fix guys, as you pointed out there were apparently several bugs at the same time and I didn't fix all bugs
The page layout on page 2+ should now be fixed and it should now also remember your settings from page to page. Thanks a lot for being persistent with this

How about a new filter for recommendations..."exclude titles I have watched" or something like that? Also, iceman, when I look at recommendations, I'm seeing both recommendations AND your profile on the same page.

Looks like filter by watched was easier to implement than I thought, give it a try

Went to the recommendations page. On the first page, I own about 80 titles that were recommended.

Click "Show more filters" and check "exclude owned titles in my collection"

I have a question about the Recommendations feature related to Taikero's point above. In short, I agree with that statement, myself (admittedly taken out of context):
Ideally, speaking for myself, owned movies wouldn't be included by default in the Recommendations list. But by default, they are, and furthermore, I can find no setting to keep them out. The filter to exclude owned titles from the list must be reselected every single time.

If there is no such setting, I'm curious why exclusion of "Owned" titles isn't the default? Do more people actually prefer to see titles -- even the exact same UPCs -- they already own in their recommendations, so that the minority (like myself) presumably have to select the exclusion filter for owned titles every time? If my preference to exclude owned titles from recommendations is in the minority, then I can understand why the feature works as it currently does. But I suspect that might not be the case...

I'm sorry for dredging up an old thread. As a newcomer I don't have the ability to start a new thread and am running into the same issue that the exclusion feature does not seem to be working.

I'm wanting to exclude the more modern day blockbusters from being used for recommendations so I click the "Exclude from Collection Matcher/Recommendations" box when I add these titles to my collection. But these titles still appear to be getting used for my recommendations. Example I added a couple Batman films now I'm getting a lot of superhero film recommendations (even though I clicked exclude from recommendations when adding them).

Appears to me that feature is not working properly. And the only way to get rid of these recommendations is to delete the films from my collection. Anyone else experience this or can help in resolving this?
