Good luck getting an answer. Mods here just delete stuff and never tell you why, even if you ask multiple times.

I go out of my way not to support the site because of it. I never click support links here anymore, I just open up a new window to buy something.

I wanted to read comments and reviews on this, but they closed the thread after just 7 days, before it was even released. I don't get what problem this solves.

I'm mainly here for the deals section now (which I use a new window for, of course). I'm really not actively participating anymore in discussions since the stuff they pulled in the VS thread recently and with Iceman's weird power moves around signatures (simply mentioning, "Podcast" gets it deleted, even if I'm not promoting anything).

as someone outside of your situation, it appears hypocritical to take advantage of the information the site provides, talk poorly about the owner's (and volunteer moderators) and actively go around affiliate links?

It's like showing up at someone's home, complaining about how they suck and refuse to chip in for the pizza and beer.

The mods clearly doesn’t respect the users. Look at this thread alone - there are two people looking for answers as to why something was deleted, yet no responses from the mods.

Why should I respect them if they clearly don’t show any respect to us?

If you're asking me if it make sense that mods deleted my signature because it said "I like podcasts", no, it doesn't make sense.

Of course you like podcasts, that's why you have a link to your own podcast in your bio. How much promotion for your own podcasts do you need? The mods aren't blind.

put "I like bananas" in your sig. I guarantee it won't be deleted
