Per trading rule No. 14, the seller must list a selling price. If sellers would like for the buyers to pay for the PayPal fees, then list a total sales price which includes the PayPal fees. That means no "Net to me", Net Pricing, No listing the fees separate i.e. (+ .50 PayPal fee) or $7.50 each ($7.00 + $.50 PayPal Fee). Just list the full price, stop making this overly complicated.

Why cant you simply allow a price that is Net to me. Or ask for a price sent Friends and Family. As a seller all that this policy does is short change all sellers and send fees to paypal unnecessarily. Less than 5% of the sellers list with the Paypal Fees. Time to update and become better for both sellers and buyers,

The ban on Friends and Family transactions should be lifted. PayPal fees are oppressive on small transactions. Forty-five cents out of $2 went to fees in one of my last transactions.

Another reason Friends and Family should be permitted, any PayPal account that has $600 in "Goods and Services" transactions gets issued a 1099-K. Too many trades could result in an IRS red flag.

I didnt think about that. That is going to be really annoying because of a rule that makes it hard to sell someone a single code at lose 25% of your sale to fees.

It's a new rule for 2022. Using Friends & Family seemingly doesn't count toward the $600 annual total.
