Why can't I post in contests & news comments? - Blu-ray Forum

Hi, I'm unable to post my comment to the Warm Bodies contest.

You need at least one forum post to post news comments (to stop spammers).

What's wrong with the comments function? It seems to be broken for all of the articles. Clicking the submit button redirects me back to the news page.

not sure why, ive been here quite some time. i was attempting to post a deal i found today, and got an error about not being authorized. please let me know what i can do. thanks

Seriously, I can leave forum stuff but I can't leave comments. I have tried 4 browsers, 2 computers, cleared cache, disabled all protective software etc. It must be a problem on the site.

Funny thing is I have left comments before. It just stopped working today. Ah well.

Would be nice if there was a notice so people know this new rule so people will know what is going on when posting a comment gets you redirected to the news page.

I'm no longer able to post comments. I don't know what to do, I've logged out and logged back in. I've also tried logging in from a different computer and a mobile device and yet I'm still not able to post anything.

I second Angmar on this - it'd be great to have this info added to/near the "Tip" section on the news comment box. I can't be the only one who was wondering why the site was suddenly "broken"! (Or a site-wide PM from the admin staff, perhaps?)

It would be nice if this was listed in the contests. I've been trying to enter 2 since yesterday. I didn't know what the problem was. I hope this will fix it.

Completely agree, the problem then is that spammers would know as well
