Lately, I have been blocking some titles from my recommendations list, but they still keep showing up after updating. Signing out and back in doesn't work either. These titles are definitely in my block list.

Any way we can get this fixed? I know a lot of people probably don't use recommendations, but I would still like to be able to use it properly. I can't see any more titles in my recommendations because the titles I've already deleted are still showing up instead of loading others.

When checking your recommendations it seems to work? Which titles shows up in the recommendations that's on your block list?

I think I may have confused you too. I'm talking about the individual movie titles. For example, when I hit "Three Musketeers" the first two rows block out my owned titles, but when I select "show more titles" titles that are in my owned collection appear.

My Blu-ray collection (158 movies, 14 TV seasons, 155 SKUs)
Despite having the requisite number of Blu-rays, and having done so for over a week now, I still get the following errors: Recommendations Not enough titles in collection. The collection must contain at least 20 titles to analyze the taste and make recommendations. Please note that if you just created your collection you will also get this error message until the recommendations are recalculated (which is done daily). Collection Matcher There are too few titles in this collection or the collection is too new. The collection must contain at least 20 titles to match the collection against other collections and the Collection Matcher background program must have run once (updated daily). Is someone able to look into this for me? |

I played around with the Recommendations feature today and have one tiny gripe.
I can't exclude titles based on the common movie they share. For example, if I own the UK edition of a movie, it'll still show the US edition. Also, if I own a movie in a collection (such as the X-Men Trilogy), it will still show the individual Blu-rays from that collection (such as X-Men, X-2, X-Men: The Last Stand). Ideally, you wouldn't see movies already in your collection, no matter their region or whether you purchased them in a box set. This would greatly help the Recommendations feature to be more relevant for those of us who are creeping on 500+ Blu-rays. Hope this suggestion helps! I know you have the data to do it as I've made submissions here before and I know that titles generally share a common underlying movie record. I'm not aware of the specifics of TV Seasons but I'd guess it's basically the same thing. |
