List of UltraViolet Movies

Here is a list of released and upcoming UltraViolet digital copies that come with DVDs and Blu-rays. I separated it into three sections; Movies, Movie Bundles and Television shows. If I have made mistakes or missing some, toss comments and I will update this as often as I can.

I have excluded expiration dates because some movies can be redeemed after their expiration and/or studios extend expiration dates. I will highlight in red the movies verified to no longer be redeemable.

Member OSUGrad2X created a UV quality (SD/HDX) redemption spreadsheet that is an awesome resource. - Thanks to basketb for pointing this out.

If there is any other information I should add or we want to know, let me know and I can add it. Hope this is useful to people.

Because you used a UV code from a physical copy. I guess.

The standard definition is only for downloading these in SD, since the download was going to be the main focus of these digital copies until Vudu came along and changed the game completely. The streaming now should be in HDX as long as they come from Blus. I still have issues with a ton of the earlier codes. I am still only seeing SD.

If anyone is interested in getting Lawless Blu-ray from Walmart with the Vudu code I'm just letting you know it redeems in SD

Frankly I would have expected to see this designation only on titles acquired through Walmart/Vudu's Disc to Digital service, since this requires bringing in your disc as proof of purchase to buy the $2 UV copy.

I redeemed my Shameless a few months back and just checked my UV account it does show SD.

I think the newer titles that first came out with UV are just SD?

I bought Crazy, Stupid, Love on BD last Christmas. When I redeemed it months later, it was in SD.

I bought Hangover II on BD when it came out, redeemed the code and it was in SD. Same with Shameless Season 1. Bought it on Blu, redeemed it and it's in SD.

No... came from a sealed blu-ray... i opened it myself. I e-mailed Vudu though I doubt it'll help.


Edit: received an e-mail from Paramount after MI4 and Hugo redeemed in SD that "The packaging clearly states SD Digital Copy. We suggest you read the fine print before purchasing." Friendly group of people over at Paramount.....

As a matter of fact, the covers of both 'Hugo' and 'Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol' clearly state:
"Ultaviolet contains a copy of the Motion Picture only, in High Defintition Format, with an English Language Track."

The bluray set of Copper: Season 1 does come with a UV copy.

I bought the Man of Steel UV pre order at Costco yesterday. It is supposed to load a special feature immediately, then automatically release the film on release date.

The special feature is in my UV locker, but Vudu and Target Ticket don't show it in their libraries. Only Flixster. So, can't see it on the Roku 3.

I thought the point of the UV locker was to access your movies through any of the UV partners. It is NOT a flixster exclusive. It is sold as a UV title.

Anyone know if the main movie will also not be visible from Vudu? That would suck.
