I bought the Man of Steel UV pre order at Costco yesterday. It is supposed to load a special feature immediately, then automatically release the film on release date.
The special feature is in my UV locker, but Vudu and Target Ticket don't show it in their libraries. Only Flixster. So, can't see it on the Roku 3. I thought the point of the UV locker was to access your movies through any of the UV partners. It is NOT a flixster exclusive. It is sold as a UV title. Anyone know if the main movie will also not be visible from Vudu? That would suck. |

There are some UV titles that do not appear on Vudu or CinemaNow, for example Falling Skies is not yet on Vudu. HBO shows will not appear in your Vudu locker unless they are separately redeemed through Vudu. It depends on the studio and what is available through Vudu. Those special features may not be available through Vudu or they do not have a UV tag next to them so they won't connect. If you want special features through Vudu it's best to get Walmart pre-orders. Sorry man. Of course they can still show up next Tuesday, who knows. Unless you're looking to buy the individual Blu-ray seasons at the higher prices they sell them for, the better UV option would probably be trying to find someone selling the complete series codes from the barrel. The individual seasons are also UV enabled if you buy them from Vudu. They might be from other services as well, but I didn't see any direct indication from CinemaNow or Target Ticket. Yes. The first re-release of season 1 to include HBO Select (the name HBO gives to their combo packs that have Blu-ray/DVD/digital copies) was the collector's edition that came out in November of 2012. There was then a re-release of the standard version of season 1 in January of 2013 that included them as well. The January 2013 re-release is the most prevalent one out there right now since it replaced the previous standard edition.

Hey guys, I just uploaded the 12 Years A Slave UV onto my collection and I just noticed that the film is shown more similarly to 1:78:1 aspect ratio than the 2:40:1 that it was shot in. I was wondering if that was the case for everyone else, because I noticed that my croods digital copy is similar and they're both from Fox.

Also, as far as I know, it has to be redeemed at Flixster, and not Vudu, CN, or TT.
